Mountain music (also known as bluegrass, old-time, and roots music) is ‘people’ music. We are a community of folks learning to sing and play this music together.
JamShops are guided jams, divided into three levels to suit everyone, from the absolute beginner to the more advanced. This creates a safe and easy path to “real-world” jamming. Introductory classes on the ToneWay Music Method (which provides a core structure for the group) are also offered here.
Our motto is, don’t underestimate yourself. Approach it as a child would (without preconceptions) and see where it takes you. It is amazing to see how many people are truly surprised at what they end up being able to do!
