Daniel, thanks for letting us know. I released your spot. The next person on the waiting list will get to register. That being said, I anticipate that some people that registered will not show up. Tracy, I think that it's safe for your person to come and participate. Make sure that your person signs up at the tent and signs the waiver. On-site registration is $10. One day USA Cycling license is $5. It will go to a good cause. 787 Racing is a registered charity (501)(c). Thanks!

We've reached our cap of 80 riders. I was at PB yesterday evening - there is plenty of parking. If it fills up, the PB park supervisor advised us that we can park safely off the road. Carpool to save gas and money. First thing we'll do after signin at 11am is ride up the trailhead and take a right to go to the skills park with Tristan (hopping and jumping skills). After the skills park, we will split into groups based on abilities, and ride the trail (TMBRA race loop) with 787 hosts and go over skills that the groups want to learn. We'll meet Tristan again at the short punchy climb to go over ascending/descending. This is our 1st MTB clinic, and we're hoping that most will be happy and find it a valuable experience. We realize that 80 riders is a lot of people, but it's not very often that an opportunity presents itself to ride with experienced, skilled riders and get feedback. I rode with Tristan last weekend, and learned a lot! He is definitely very efficient.

I'm going to do a full pre-lap starting at 0830 if anyone is interested. Fast pace, should be back in plenty of time.

So, I'm guessing this will be at the "east trail head" right? In that case, I have no clue how all of these people will fit in that small parking lot. Where else is this parking in case it fills?

Is there a cap on the amount of people who can attend? Also I signed up through USA Cycling and it required I buy a one day license. Was that the correct place to register

I think they are cutting it off at 80 students. You MUST sign up at USA Cycling to get on the list. Meetup.com sign up alone is not sufficient. You do have to buy a one-day license. That fee pays for USAC's insurance coverage for you as well as keeps their lights on. Otherwise, this is a lo$$ for them to put this on. Awesome that it is otherwise free.

DO NOT FORGET the $10 park entry fee which must be in cash.

Thanks for posting this on meetup! Yes, you are correct that it is capped at 80 people. Yes, it's a free event, but you'll need a USA Cycling license (either 1 day or annual). That covers liability. Also, entrance to the park is $10 per vehicle, so carpool! Any questions, please feel free to email me. [masked] Again, thanks for posting this on meetup. We're excited to host this event. If successful, we'll do it again at City Park.

Renada - For questions it appears you will have to contact 787 Cycling at the number they provided in the registration portal. You did register at the correct place. Sorry, I don't have more information for you.

No problem just wasn't sure if this was a ARR event or a 787 event. But either way the 5 dollars isn't a big deal and well worth the class I hope :)
Can't wait to see everyone there!!

      It is a 787 event.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
