Geo and Aric Engagement Celebration Ride

It's like Romeo & Juliet with mountain bikes but without the tragic ending: ARR's very own Geo & Aric got engaged on Christmas! Join us for a celebration ride at Brushy Creek Trail with the happy couple on Saturday.

Park at the Brushy Creek Sports Complex (Brushy Creek Recreation Park?) and look for the group of mountain bikers, ask around for Lloyd, Geo, or Aric.

Time: ~2 hours for 7 miles.

Arrive early enough to prepare yourself and your bike, kickstands up @ 10:00am.

Skill Level: The ride will be a beginner skill level; but if several intermediates show up we can send you on ahead as a faster paced group. Not sure how to assess your mountain biking skills? Check out the RLAG breakdown on Facebook:

RLAG Skill Assessment

Pace: Casual - we will maintain a reasonable rolling rate and will stop to regroup regularly around trail intersections and technical features.

No Drop: you can self drop out of the group at any time if you know the trails and how to get back to the trail head, otherwise we will get you back.

If you have any questions post them in the comment box below or you can send me an email via Meetup: just click my name on the right side of this page, click “Send an email” under my name on the page that opens.

    Congrats on the Engagement!
I was wondering if yall ride on the actual brushy creek trail or are there other mtn bike trails in that area as well? Thanks!

    December 26, 2013

    • Aric M.

There is a single track trail with about seven miles of riding bliss Bryan!! It has tight twisty switch backs, some techy features and a rough Georgetown type feel to it! :) good riding!

    • Bryan H
