Welcome! Introduce yourself!

Crandle smash!

What pace do you like to ride? Beginner (we all started somewhere), casual (enjoying the scenery), moderate (working hard with the rest of the pack), or super fast (shiny blur zinging by)?

I'm an experienced rider and a "racer". I'm also a Clydesdale so the shorter the ride, the faster I am. However I love longer longer hilly rides!

What is your weapon of choice? (no bike snobbery here, just sharing the love)

Niner Air Nine Carbon SS is my fave, however I have a Niner Jet 9 with 3x10 gearing for really long, hilly rides.

What is your favorite local trail? Why?

I have only ridden 5 trails around since i moved in October. Order of love is: Douthat, Patapsco, Fountainhead, Lake Fairfax and Wakefield. I really enjoy trails that have at least a big 6-10 mile loop. Lake Fairfax is next my office, so I have the most time on that.

How long have you been playing in the dirt?

Since 1998. I have only been focusing on racing/training/bike handling the last 3 years.
