In need of a shorter and steeper stem... my neck has been killing me after every ride no matter how far I go! If anyone has an extra one or left over one that I could try out i'd appreciate it. It it worked I'd buy it! My alternative is to buy a new one. I don't think they're even that much... may just do that.

thanks!

Travis,

I may have something laying around but will not be able to get it to you to after the weekend. I am off visiting the in-laws this weekend. I will dig around and let you know by monday. You are right though, stems are not terribly expensive so definitely check out your local bike shop.

Cheers

I have a bunch of stems from 50 mm to 90 mm that you can try but if your neck is what is bothering you I would almost bet you need a set of riser handlebars or add some shims under your stem. Most of the time when your stem is to long your lower back will hurt not your neck. You can also try sliding your seat forward on the rails.
