Beginner Ride At Core Creek.

Let's get over the mid-week hump with some rubber on dirt fun.

I bumped the time back to 6:30pm since we have plenty of light.

We are wheels out at 6:30... so be there and ready.

This will be a beginner paced ride. Faster riders are welcome to come and split off from the main group.
Distance will vary from 6-9 miles, with a stop at the parking lot after 6. We can keep riding as long as we have sun.

This is an off road ride. The terrain has some technical spots but we can take our time to practice skills or walk when necessary. A mountain bike is a necessity. We will be riding over roots, rocks, logs and wooden bridges.

Helmets Required.

Awesome time, dispite my flat and my wipeout. Weather and trails were great. It was crazy how good a turnout we had.

Where did you get a flat? I caught a thorn on broke back yesterday.

It was actually the trail we call Lost sandle bridge. Right after the jump loop. I was running tube less but I got a hole too big for the sealant to fill. Threw a tube in and finish ed the ride.

For everyone at last nights ride when we spoke about the new Core specific group we created to work in the park with the parks blessing... you can keep up with what's going on and also donate to the insurance fund.

    Thanks!!

Hey there singletrackers. I just want to remind you that my band, Rule Six, is playing this Saturday night (8/2) at Fran's Pub in New Hope. We'll be going on around 8pm and playing some really cool, danceable, modern and alternative rock hits. There's no cover charge for the show and we're expecting a great crowd. Come on out and join us. https://www.facebook.com/events/1515509415328748/

It turned out that what I really needed wasn't peer guidance, but an update to the Google Maps app on my phone. With the updated app Duchess Lane is right where a road with a different name was in a previous version and I'm pretty confident I can get myself and my bike to the trailhead. See you Wednesday!

I'm a Core Creek virgin and a Philadelphia Meetup virgin, though I do own a bike and a helmet. Can someone give me some guidance on finding the trailhead? Google Maps seems a bit uncertain about Duchess Ln.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
