We usually meet 15 mins before the movie on the left hand side of lobby. After we get a few people there, I send them into the theater to save the group seats. We usually sit on the 3-4 row and I wait in the lobby right up to time movie is to start. If you need to reach me, my number is [masked]. See ya at the movies :)

Hey, I like horror movies, but I want to share some information about paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and Amityville in general. I was in college when Ed and Lorraine were invited to come by and speak via our lecture program. I was able to see them and I must say that, while I found them a very personable couple, they were obviously working their supernatural scam in the long tradition of gypsy fortune tellers. When I entered the auditorium they had Halloween music coming out of a cheap boom box and proceeded to tell a few ghost stories; not well I might add. Their delivery was flat monotone, filled with confusion and backtracking, and world worry in the way of having done this sort of thing too long for too little money.

Amityville was a money maker for Hollywood, but there was no real indication that anything happened there other than the writing of the book by the couple who pushed the story as hard as they could and made some serious money doing it. The Amityville “haunted house” was sold to new owners who had no problem with ghosts or demons whatsoever, but were often haunted by sightseers.
