Welcome to The Lumet Movie Club (Sydney)

Named after Sidney Lumet an American director, producer and screenwriter with over 50 films to his name and Author of the book Making Movies. The Lumet Movie Club is a terrific group for those who enjoy seeing a wide variety of movies including indies, documentaries, blockbusters, and foreign films. This group is focused on fostering the genuine enjoyment of seeing an interesting film with others, and having a stimulating discussion about it afterwards.

We primarily watch movies at Event Cinema George Street. Suggestions for films you'd like to see are welcome..

an addition component of the group is Monthly bookclub which meets in the Sutherland Shire.
