See the two-hankie musical, "Les Misérables" Friday at 6:50PM for $1.50 admission -- that's right, a BUCK-FIFTY! Tropicana Cinemas is located in the lot behind the Rebel station on the northwest corner of Tropicana and Pecos with plenty of well-lighted parking. I'll be there at 6:30PM -- please try to arrive then so we can all be seated together -- find the old revolutionary with the grey beard inside the building, near the theatre (numbers one through six) where the movie is showing. Note that food and drink brought from outside is not allowed in the building. Optional meeting to socialise afterward at Putter's, thirty yards away.
Jean Valjean (Hugh Jackman) is paroled after 19 years in prison for stealing bread, but breaks his parole and is hunted for decades by Inspector Javert (Russell Crowe). After factory worker Fantine (Anne Hathaway) is fired from her job, Valjean agrees to care for her daughter Cosette (Amanda Seyfried) changing their lives forever.
