Out of the Furnace

A meet to see the Christian Bale drama about a man who goes looking for his brother when he disappears after becoming involved in gang fights.

I'm going for an earlier screening for a change (and because I've double booked myself for the evening!) so I've chosen the 3.15 showing at the Greenwich 02. This should be handy for Cineworld fans and is probably a couple of pounds cheaper than West End. We'll meet from 2.30 in the cinema's bar and the 02 Slug and Lettuce is a spacious nearby pub for afterwards.

I'm thinking this probably won't sell out before Saturday, but it is opening weekend and not on one of the bigger screens, so you may want to book online to be sure.

Hope to see you there!

I don't know if anyone is driving to venue but you get four hours free parking at the O2 with a cineworld ticket. You have to park in car park 2 or car park 4a though.

I see it is on at 02 Greenwich at 6.15 which is the best Cineworld in London and good for Unlimited members

Has a venue been decided yet? As depending on where it is will decide whether I can still come

But how does this all work anyway…? Is it booking a cheaper group ticket once we can say that there'll be 20+ of us…?! As, otherwise, West End Cinema prices… (-!!). (-Even though it does look like I might have to 'send my apologies' re: this one…).

Hi David. Group tickets aren't generally possible- attendee numbers aren't known until the day and there's generally no discount anyway. West end can be steep I'm afraid but its central so travel is easier and may be a saving for most

I have to say that I may not manage to make the show, as I have a BBC show to be in the audience of in the evening...

Not sure about a West End Cineworld as the venue… But I s'pose it'll be comfy enough for the number of us coming… -as long as we get areas to the front middle

Cineworld are the best Cinemas. There aint 1 in either Westfield.

    January 27, 2014

    • Michelle

Yeah both Westfields are Vue cinemas, only been to one of the two but I really liked it. That said as long as there's a tube stop fairly near by I'll go pretty much anywhere.

Would Haymarket or Trocadero be considered for this Film? If they get it that is.

Ultimately depends where it's showing and the time.
