Hey Suzanne,

You are not alone. Did you know that most of your favs were in the top 50 films to see before you die on channel 4 last night?

Good on you, although how that kind of list doesn't have Raging Bull and Nikita in them, I don't know.

As for Hitchcock, my fav is Rear Window. NBNW builds the story really well, I just don't like the ending. It's almost as if they ran out of time and had to finish it really quickly.

Otherwise, good selection.

Thanks

I agree just listing three is hard, so i'll go for 10 but in no order as thats just as hard.

Seven Samurai (Anything by Kurosawa, but this is the first of his films I saw and my fav)
Little Miss Sunshine
Fight Club
Jean De Florette
Leon
Dogma (Essential Kevin Smith)
Battle Royale
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (I know it has Vinny Jones in it, but if you look past that its a good film...)
Pulp Fiction
Das Experiment

I'm a big fan of alot of gangster related stuff so if it was a list of 20 or more stuff like the Godfather, Casino, Goodfellas would be listed. Maybe i'll just come back and do a list of 50 or so...

Top films are a difficult one. I see so many films and my tastes are rather varied. So many favourites. I wouldn't say the films below are my absolute top 10, but they are certainly 10 films I very much enjoyed.

Listed in no particular order:

Sliding Doors
Forrest Gump
Wimbledon
The Four Feathers
A Few Good Men
Gladiator
V for Vendetta
Team America
Its a Wonderful Life
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Sleepless in Seattle

So many movies I have left off. I find it hard to say one movie is necessary better than another in the ones I like. I guess different films cater to my different tastes.

^ I like a lot of those.

I'd have to add Paprika to my top ten somewhere now.
First film I've seen with the group to make the list!!!!

The Breakfast Club - Am I showing my age? Am I showing my fashion sense?

Star Wars trilogy - Parts 4-6, don't ask me about the 1st 3, they're awful.
