What is your favorite type of film to see at the JBFC: documentary, independent, foreign, classic?

Most all, including some of the rebroadcasts of live shows from the National Theater in London.

When the best day and time to meet for a film outing at the JBFC?

Nights and Weekends.

What are some of your favorite Films, and who are a few of your favorite Directors?

Eclectic, and too many to list them all. Some examples: Sarah's Key (awesome!), La Misma Luna, Real women Have Curves, the "Dragon Tattoo" trilogy (originals), Winter's Bone, most films by Rohmer, some by Fellini, mixed with some well made "commercial" films.

I'm a long-time member at JBFC and am glad to find this group! ... and I have little patience for people who won't see a film with subtitles.

What David J is saying about this Meetup Group

Warm and welcoming. I talked with several friendly people before the film and a group of us went out afterwards. We had a wide-ranging discussion that began with the film and eventually moved into current events. I look forward to future events.
