This week's movie is by Jacques Audiard, the director who brought us The Beat That My Heart Skipped (2005), which is a wonderful movie.  One reviewer described Rust and Bone as a film "that finds the most stirring emotion in struggle rather than in ginned-up melodrama or easy resolution."  Sounds good to me!

MetaCritc score: 74.  RottenTomatoes score:  80.

***** We have the private room at La Madeleine reserved at 6:30 for refreshments and discussion after the show. *****

This will be a joint meetup with the Austin Arthouse and the Austin Classier Side meetup groups.

Very interesting film with many avenues for discussion and Clay did his usual fine job of leading the discussion.
