Get your Name on the Hollywood Reporter Cover

Have you ever wanted to be on the front cover of Hollywood Reporter? Here is your chance to do it for the cost of filling up your gas tank!

From time to time, The Hollywood Reporter releases a special edition which focuses on shooting in different states. San Diego?s Film Commissioner, Cathy Anderson, has convinced them to do their latest special edition right here in San Diego instead. As one of the top go-to publications for filmmakers worldwide, having their attention on our city can have a great impact on our industry.

The Hollywood Reporter is a trade publication so the cover would not reflect that it?s a special issue unless we purchase ad space on it. This is very standard and advertising on the cover is very very expensive, starting at $25,000. The only way we can afford this is by spreading the cost out amongst all of us so that everyone takes a small fraction rather than one company paying for the whole thing.

The cover design will be a wallpaper of names (businesses and individuals alike) with the tag line: "336 Reasons to Film In San Diego." Please see attached.

We are selling off name listings on the front cover of Hollywood Reporter for $65 and/or on the back cover for $45-$80.

The issue comes out Feb 26th and the deadline to get names in is Feb 20th.

This venture will probably not get you any direct business but will be a great help to community and our industry and will live you with a cool memoire which you can frame and put up on your wall. The whole staff here has bought space on the cover which we plan on framing in our office. The Film Commission is not profiting from this.

The basic name listing for the front cover is only $65.

The basic name listing for the back cover is only $45.

The more exclusive blue listing (sold out on the front, very few left on the back) is $80.

Please make payment to:

San Diego Film Commission
1010 2nd Avenue, Suite 1500
San Diego, CA 92101

Deadline is Friday, Feb 20, 2009
