Pirate Weekend At The Georgia Renaissance Festival!!

  • This location is shown only to members

Come Celebrate The Georgia Renaissance Festival's 26th anniversary season with the Atlanta Pirates and Wenches Guild! We'll be puttin' on our finest threads and packin' our best gear to rub elbows with the Lords and Ladies, the Fairy Folk, the Gypsies, Belly Dancers and of course all the Buccaneers! We might even get a rickshaw ride or a kiss or two from the lovely Buxom Kissing Wenches! Scalawags and swashbucklers abound for His Majesty’s Pirate Adventure! Those adults and children who think themselves worthy buccaneers can compete in the Talk Like a Pirate and Best Dressed Pirate Costume Contests! This weekend is also Knights on Bikes Weekend! Present your motorcycle license and receive $4.00 off an adult full price ticket purchased at the Festival Box Office only. (2 adult discount purchases per motorcycle license, not valid with any other offer.) If you do not have a motorcycle license and would like to avoid the lines at the Festival Box Office, you may want to buy your tickets at Kroger ahead of time at a small discount.

Festival hours are 10:30 to 6:00 and the parking is free.  Each year Pirate Weekend is extremely popular and crowded so make yer way early mateys (last year there was a 2 hour wait to get into the parking lot at opening time).

Strolling through the Festival: $18.00, sweet tea, $3.00, pirates gathered in full regalia under the ship's flag: priceless.

We always commandeer tables in the food court, right up behind the Pirate ship. You can always find the pirates there.

We had a fun time at the fair but could not find the crew - maybe next time I'll try to get someone's cell # so we know where to go and when :-)

I wandered the Fest with my pirate sister, raiding various vendors and aquiring several shiny new weapons. Met a couple of pirate friends, greeted some Atlanta pirates briefly, and generally enjoyed the day...
