I was kinda bummed out to hear that Pirate Bob was leaving our group and am only now getting the pieces of the story put togther. The last thing that was intended when our group was formed was for there to be any wailing or gnashing of teeth. When I set up The Atlanta Pirates and Wenches Guild, I was just looking for other fun folks who liked to dress up like pirates and women who liked showing their assets in corsets. Never did I dream that we would get this big. As with any group, people have different motivations and aspirations. I truly respect that for some of our members, pirating may be part of their livelihood. While,I look at our group as a purely social organization, if we have become big enough to take on other endeavors, then we may need to chart a new course. Hopefully, you've come to realize that even though I'm listed as "captain", I do not consider myself to be the owner of this group. As Jack Sparrow said, "You may kill me, but you cannot offend me." Give me your thoughts on what the vision for this fine group should be.
