What we all have to remember is that until we all get the word straight from the horses mouth, or arse, as it were... we don't need to assume we know the full story. I am not siding with anyone in this attempt at stopping this conversation, but if someone is under contract, and it's how they make money, it's only fair to speak with them first about doing something for free. As I recall, I've never heard of anyone begging or asking for compensation for anything else outside of the aforementioned contract.
Contractual agreements are a bit different than fun. It's just an opinion. NO need for reply. We just have to think about what Bob may be going through at this point in time, and when it comes to money, I mean, come on... if you could get paid for something or do it for free and you had a choice, you can't tell me that you would choose to do it for free... it's a lot of work. I know, as an artist of sorts, that when someone wants you to do something for free that you normally get money for, it is a strain on you when you could be spending your time elsewhere making a living.
As far as this conversation, the decision has been made. I don't think Bob did this to intentionally hurt anyone or step on toes. He took an inventory of things in his own personal situation and made a decision. We all need to move on with this group and start a new day.
I enjoy the fellowship and company of each of you. I agree with the purpose of the group, don't get me wrong. I just think it's time...
