Hi Everyone --

Looks like another great weekend @ The Little:

Theatre #2:  Lee Daniels' The Butler, run time 132 minutes, starts @ 6:30 p.m.

Theatre #3:  Salinger, run time is 120 minutes, starts @ 6:40 p.m.

Theatre #4:  Thanks for Sharing, run time is 112 minutes, starts @ 6:50 p.m.

Theatre #5:  Blue Jasmine, directed by Woody Allen, run time is 98 minutes, starts @ 7:15 p.m.

We'll meet in the lobby of Theatres 2-5, behind the ticket counter and in front of the Cafe; ticket booth opens @ 6 p.m.

For the new members:  we'll see different movies based on individual preference* and then meet afterwards @ Acanthus Cafe on East Avenue to talk about what made 'our' movies good...or not so good.  Look for the animated group of people saying things like:  is this the movie group, what are you seeing, that sounds good-can I join you? // *Find a movie buddy, sit together and chances are you'll make a new friend.  Afterwards, walk together (we always walk in groups) to Acanthus Cafe where they'll be waiting for us.  The movie discussions are always enlightening -- and fun!

See you Saturday evening!

Caroline

Mark Ruffalo is an amazing actor! Loved "Thanks For Sharing,". One of the best films to show true struggles with addiction. Gwynneth Paltrow and Tim Robbins also did a great job. Good conversation at Ancanthus. Sadly, Ancanthus is closing. : (. To show their appreciation, they treated us all with their brownie dessert. Thanks. We said that we would take the waitress with us and require the next place to hire her if they would have us. For the start of October, i will let you know where we will try next.

Thanks for Sharing was a very balanced movie of the complexities of human relationships when one party has an addiction issue.

This is how it works. You see whatever moving you like and everyone meets up at Acanthus afterward to discuss whatever film they just saw. Not everyone sees the same film.

I'm new to the site and somehow did not see which movie we are meeting to see. Could someone enlighten me?

    With appreciation,

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
