I truly enjoy learning about other cultures either through independent movies, live theater and music, Get-togethers or travel. When my schedule permits I enjoy competitive sailboat racing. My favorite place to visit thus far is South Africa.

What Teresa is saying about this Meetup Group

This film should also come with trigger warnings. It contained unrelenting realism about the addictions to alcohol if a person is unable to combat the disease. And how the dysfunctional effects can be passed on to the next generation. It also gave insight to unqualified professionals in the rehab clinic. It focused on the revolving door leading to a downward spiral of sadness, hopelessness and in some cases active suicide. The scenes that were particularly graphic included withdrawal seizures or DTs, vomiting and human excrement. This is not your average health studies film but could be in tool to help health professionals and others learn. One day at a time, Folks. One day at a time
