Upcoming non-new release film roundup

Hey guys,

I've been looking around a bit at films coming to theaters soon, and I ran across of one-time screenings, of classics and whatnot outside of the regular new release schedule.

The Strand is doing Monday night "Fright Nights" throughout October

And there are a number of screenings of all new classic film restoration (except for the RiffTrax event) presented through Fathom events. While we were still in Albany, we saw Casablanca as presented by Fathom/TCM, and it looked incredible. For these, plan to go early, and you may want to consider reserving tickets ahead of time. Casablanca was PACKED.

Starred items are part of the TCM Event series: http://www.fathomevents.com/classics/series/tcm2012.aspx

We had some Fandango credit, so Alyssa and I already reserved tickets at Solomon Pond for The Birds. We're also definitely going to Lawrence of Arabia. Other than those, we haven't narrowed down which ones we want to see yet, but there are definitely a ton of good choices.
