"The Producers" (the original one!)

In one of the best comedy debuts of all time, Mel Brooks exploded upon the movie scene with his "The Producers", about two ecstatically corrupt operators who try making a fortune by creating the worst play ever made.  And the result, "Springtime for Hitler", hilariously qualifies (it's even worse than the Spiderman musical written by U2 that crippled five people!)  And afterwards, we'll meet up to talk more about Mel Brooks, such as in the words of Max Bialystock:  "how did he go *right*?!"

Just like "Godzilla", let's check out this wonderfully classic movie before Matthew Broderick comes along and ruins it with the remake.
