Don't want to beat this one to death-I was just so disappointed in Colin Firth who I think can be such a wonderful actor. He seemed out of his element in this film. His youger version, during the internment time frame was exceptional. Firth's Japanese tormentor appeared to be physically built in such a way as to tear him in half had he chosen to-though I realize he felt the need to repent and aquiesesce. I liked the idea of forgivenesss which you could feel building through out the film but felt there was a real opportunity for a much more powerful rather than wimpy ending...my take.

Saw Railway Man earlier today. Parts are tough to watch-will be curious what the group thinks.

Without giving away too much plot--what was difficult about some parts?? Appreciate your comments.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
