What a fantastic MOVIE!!! Silver Linings Playbook was very good. The group of people were a fascinating mix of movie lovers. Each took something special away from the movie and shared views and wonderful critiques. Thank You everyone for making my first M-U Movie gathering a great experience.

I'm sorry to say I got to the movie 30 minutes late, having read the movie's description at the kiosk. But, I thought it just wonderful and will see it again so I can fully appreciate all the nuances, zany and otherwise, of this romantic comedy. But, I most want to say how appreciative I am for Rosemary starting this MeetUp and all the hard work, she, Chip, and Markus did in putting this event together. Bless your hearts, you are terrific!!! I look forward to the announcement for the upcoming Feb. 2 date. I will not be able to be there before 1 p.m. so I may have to buy the ticket a day earlier and sit way up front! But, I plan to be there!!! Elizabeth Russo

I confirmed YES a few weeks ago and just now noticed I'm not listed as attending (?) Whatever . . . it sounds like a fun movie and evening and especially due to the 5 year event afterwards . . we are left in suspense. And Rosemary - I assume you will be there, but thought I'd ask if this is on your calendar as well (?)

Hello, My name is Rose AKA "They" and the organizer from White Christmas. I am sorry I was not able to meet up with the rest of the group. I stood at the foot of the second tier just inside the theater facing the concession stand for 40 minutes and did not sit down until just before the lights went out. The reserved row was always the third row and just one up from the second row. There were seven empty chairs and not hard to miss if you showed up before the lights went out. I also posted several comments on the posted event via mobile phone on how to find me. Some of you do not have head shots posted on your profile which made it difficult for me to recognize you from a sea of movie goers. After the movie, another member and I stood near the door to try and re-group with other members to no avail. I did chase down two members and four of us ended up having a nice dinner. My deepest apologies to those adversely affected by this.

Thank you for posting this. I did go but not having my phone turned on, did not know where to find you. Probably a good idea in the future to post ahead of time where to meet up if not in the usual place as not everyone will have access to email. As a rule, we gather in the lobby across from the concessions by bench.. This also gives folks a better chance of spotting each other with the benefit of light. I looked around for folks both before and afterwards but like you did not spot others.

Hi Rose. I didn't know you were standing near the door waiting.

Rose, I don't think there're any adverse effect, it was a great movie and thanks to you I got to see it, it's just more fun if I had found you and the rest of the group. I looked and looked, saw some empty folding chairs between the lower and higher section, I also search afterward hoping to at least find someone in the group, but there're so many people that I can't tell, if you remember a strange lady dressed in a red coat looking around, that was me. It was the first time I visited the Crest, not familiar with the seating, I even asked the staff where the upstairs was. No big deal, just a conversation and my English is not that good, using "They" meant the group, don't be offended, it's nice enough that you take the effort to organize the event, I do appreciate it even tho I missed you.

Sounds like a lot of fun and a good start for 2013. The B'day celebration goes to you, Rosemary! You held it together for these past 5 years with your intriguing after-movie questions that always sparked diverse "answers" that proved to be "opinions".

Don't feel bad, I didn't neither, since they first said they'll be on the 2nd center roll upstairs, it's hard to determine which is upstairs the first place, then they decided to change to the 3rd roll after I left the house so I'd never saw the message and couldn't find the group neither. Hopefully we'll meet everyone on the 19th.

I'm so sorry I didn't get to meet any of you for the movie "White Christmas" last Sat., Dec. 22. Reyna
