Hey Carl, we saw BEASTS at the Tower theater -- not sure how long it will be there -- great film -- hope you can catch it. Rosemary

Thanks so much to all of you for coming out last night ... I really enjoyed BEASTS and truly appreciated all of your input ... thought I would share this review with you ... http://www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/movies/20120713__Beasts_of_the_Southern_Wild___A_magical_trip_to_bayou_country.html
1) Any thoughts on the "captain" of the boat -- we didn't discuss him but what an interesting man who navigates a ship that takes you where you need to go. Does anyone remember the line that he says re how the wrappers make him feel -- Hush Puppy says "I want to be ... " what was the word -- it felt like an important moment and now I can't remember it.
2) Also, did anyone catch what the prossitute says when she turns and walks away from Hush Puppy?
Welcome. We tend to specialize in indie, foreign, and documentary films - you know, the kind of movie you want to discuss afterwards! Naturally, a lot of these films are at the Tower Theatre at 16th and Broadway. (We do meet at other theatres once in a while, too!) Come and meet us in the lobby before the show, sit through the end credits, and then meet in the lobby afterwards for discussion. We're a diverse group with lots of different viewpoints... and our discussions tend to be very interesting!
