That title caught my eye, too, along with "The Encyclopedia of Funerals and Mourning." I have no clue what it means, other than she's weird. (I thought for a moment that the movie might have opened on Pi Day (3.14) but it opened on 2/28/13.) But I like your idea that it's irrational, and never-ending.

Did you notice that when she went up to Charlie's room to rummage through his bag, he had a dark jacket hanging on the valet rack, even though he wore a light colored jacket to the wake?

Hey there and thanks for coming out last night ... what a film!  In a scene India is reading THE HISTORY OF  PI -- I don't know much about mathmatics ... is there something about PI that ties in with the film ... is it a never ending story of violence like PI is a never ending number?    Open to your thoughts and again thanks for coming out ...    Rosemary
