This is now confirmed for the 6.30pm showing, meet outside entrance for 6.15pm (inside if it's raining).

One of Mumbai’s miracles is the lunchbox delivery system. Mumbai’s Dabbawallahs are a community of 5000 dabba (lunchbox) deliverymen. Every morning the Dabbawallahs deliver hot meals from the kitchens of housewives to the offices of their husbands, and then return the empty lunchboxes back home in the afternoon. Our story starts with a wrongly delivered lunchbox. With this mistake a connection is made between a young housewife and an older man in the dusk of his life. As the two begin to exchange notes they build a beautiful fantasy realm together that threatens to put their real lives at risk.

Very much enjoyed - and afterwards in the Brudenell. I still assert though, that it was "only a film"! [really not sure about the punctuations postions at the end there anymore. Someone will help?] Shame that, if 16 went, only a handful managed to meet up. Thanks to Tracy for organising.

Hi, quick question since this is my first movie meetup: Do we buy our tickets in advance, or after we meet up as a group? Thank you!

Danielle, We normally walk up to the ticket booth individually and buy our tickets and look for the others. You are welcome to buy the tickets in advance if you want. In my experience, Hyde Park Picture House has never become full.

I want to see this. It's sold out at Bradford International Film Festival so when the tickets come out it might be an idea to book online if possible because it seems to be a popular movie!

This looks fun, Tracey. Btw - it hasn't been announced to the group - is that because its provisional timing?

    March 24, 2014

    • Tracey

Yes, no point announcing until HPPH works out their schedule, as it is prone to change the week before, sometimes with ridiculous timings. It's a meetup to remind me to look out nearer the time.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
