The Galapagos Affair - 1930s True Life Documentary

Thanks Sue Scott for your suggestion :-) and this is now a definite meetup. From the HPPH brochure this is a true-crime tale of paradise lost and found; a documentary of a 1930s murder mystery as a Berlin doctor and his mistress start a new life on an uninhabited island in the Galapagos. "We want to be alone". Not for long, as the press gets hold of the story and others think they fancy a slice of the action themselves, some of whom disappear in mysterious circumstances soon afterwards...maybe its was Thomas Darwin what done it?

Cate Blanchett is featured, now sure if that is as an actoress or a narratoress, and Sebastian Koch also.

Looking at the image above I can spot look-a-likes for Ben Affleck and Ben Kingsley, any more folks? The Baroness looks like Joyce Grenfell perhaps? The Philosopher reminds me of someone but its not an actor...

6pm, HPPH on a Tuesday in summer is a perfect time for the cinema, especially if its raining outside. Genius.

Really sorry that I couldn't make it tonight. Sounds fascinating and I hope it was as good as the blurb!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
