Meetup Description: I'm planning on going to see this one on the 19th April. I realize the movie and the timing (Sunday afternoon) might not be to everyone's taste, but if anyone wants to join me you're more than welcome.

This is a critically acclaimed Japanese drama from Kiyoshi Kurosawa , who is more usually known for his bizarre and twisted J-Horror films. The story concerns a Japanese businessman, husband, and father of two, who unexpectedly loses his job. Unable to break the news to his devoted wife, he dresses up every morning and pretends to go to work, instead wasting the days away with a former classmate who is also unemployed. The longer his charade goes on, the less influence he has as patriarch, creating an even deeper divide between him and his family.

It's had really good reviews so far, although from experience that doesn't necessarily mean it's any good. Anyway, if anyone wants to come along I'll see you at the cinema a few minutes before the start time.
