Thursday Evening Flat Water Paddle - Caesar Creek

Enjoy leisurely after work paddle on Caesar Creek. The paddle will be approximately 1-2 hours and distance will be decided by the group.

We will meet at 6:15 PM and unload boats at the ramp. We will head north up the Caesar Creek or the Anderson Fork.

If you are running late, please call. I will provide my cell number once RSVP's close.

• Start

We will push off from the shoreline at 6:30 PM.

• Finish

We should be out of the water 8:15 PM + or -.

• Duration

Expect to spend about 1.5-2 hours on the water.

• Difficulty

This paddle is suitable for paddlers with flat water experience.  You must be 18 years of age or older and sign the liability waiver.  Its not a hard paddle, however there are obstacles to maneuver.

• What You See

Birds, wildflowers, wildlife.

• Restrooms

There are no restrooms available

• Food

Bring water and snacks.  We could have dinner and beverages after the paddle at Stone House Tavern in Waynesville.

• Equipment

A boat that tracks well would be ideal, but not necessary.  This is a flat water paddle and a recreational boat will do well.

• What to Bring

PFD / hat / water / sunscreen / bug spray / dry clothes / dry shoes / dry bag / towel and safety equipment. Be prepared.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not your guide.  I am a friend to paddle with that has provided you with group companionship and kayaking opportunity.

This is really a beautiful paddle. Saw some huge herons, and very pretty treeline reflecting off of water like glass. A great group of paddlrs to enjoy it with. Oh, did I mention the perfect weather? Thanks, Rob!

The weather forecasts have been all over the place but it looks like we are shaping to be partly cloudy with a low rain percentage for our paddle. So unless something changes dramatically, I will see everyone there tomorrow night.

Rob, I may not make it as planned secondary to my caseload at work tomorrow.

This is my favorite part of Ceasars Creek to paddle but I'm not going to be able to squeeze this in that night. Hopefully there will be another.. enjoy.
