Kayak Dayton - Great Miami River "Weekday Paddle Series" West C... to Miamisburg

  • July 15 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Enjoy short and leisurely after work paddle on the Great Miami River. At only 6 miles, its a good way to get on the water close to home and stretch your arms.  This is a fun section that I am sure you will enjoy.

We will paddle 6 miles from the Dam near Moraine Air Park downstream of Sellars Road [GM 72] to an new take out area located near downtown Miamisburg [GM 66] on The Great Miami River. There is not a livery for boat rental or a shuttle. You will need to own your own boat and be willing to shuttle with other kayakers on this Meet Up.  If you do not have a boat, local rental information is included below.

We will meet at the  6:30 PM at the launch area and agree on shuttle logistics.  We will prepare boats for launch and a group will stage vehicles for shuttle at the take out location. Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes before. If you are running late, please call. I will provide my cell number once RSVP's close.

Thanks Kenny, but apparently my yak has a "spaicial" gift of finding rocks all on its own. I appreciate the thought! Good one.
