Little Miami evening paddle

The weather is supposed to be great tomorrow evening, so let's get out and enjoy it on the Little Miami.  This will be a 6 mile run from the Caesar Creek access down to the Mathers Mill access point.  

Park and Put-in @ OHDNR LMR Map Feature #25 
Corwin Nixon covered bridge public access, GPS Coordinates [masked], [masked] 

Takeout will be at OHDNR LMR Map Feature # 29, Mather's Mill Access, GPS Coordinates [masked], [masked]

Meet at 6:15at the take out, if you're running late please call (my cell # is below). We will then make shuttle arrangements, leave vehicles at the take out, & drive the boats up to the put in.  We'll plan to push off at 6:45.  We should be done around 8:15 to 8:30. This is one of the most scenic sections of one of the most scenic rivers in Ohio!

We will push of from the shoreline at 6:45 PM

• Finish 
We should be out of the water 8:30 PM + or - 

• Duration 
Expect to spend about 1.5 hours on the water

• Pace 
We will take a leisurely paddle giving plenty of time for camera opportunities

• Distance 
This paddle is 6 miles

• Difficulty 
This paddle is suitable for paddlers with some moving water experience.  You must be 18 years of age or older and sign the liability waiver.  Its not a hard paddle, however there are obstacles to maneuver.

• What You See 
A covered bridge, the confluence with Caesar Creek, Wildlife.

• Restrooms 
There are no restrooms available 

• Food 
Bring water and snacks.  We will have dinner after the paddle at The Little River Cafe.

•-Equipment 
There is always a nice current on this stretch with a numerous small rapids and a few nice pools.  A more maneuverable boat is ideal, but any boat will do well on this stretch.   

• What to Bring 
PFD / hat / water / sunscreen / bug spray / dry clothes / dry shoes / dry bag / safety equipment. Be prepared.

• Bring a towel as to respect the vehicle owner in which you share a shuttle.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not your guide.  I am a friend to paddle with that has provided you with group companionship and shuttling opportunity.

CANCELLATION

This paddle will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather or unsuitable river conditions.

GUESTS

No guests on the sign up.  Just ask your friends to sign up on Meet Up and RSVP to the paddle.  In this, we ensure everyone has accepted the liability waiver.  this protects everyone on the event.
