SUP 156 – A Journey from Indian Lake to the Ohio River, part of Great Miami Outfitters “Living For Adventure” Presentation Series

GMO-logo

Tom Helbig successfully completed his 156 mile SUP journey down the Great Miami River in Ohio a few months ago. Hear about this 11-day adventure when Tom lived the “river life” including portaging around log jams and low-head dams, taking cover under bridges during thunderstorms, jumping off a waterfall, fishing, camping in a hammock, visiting cities along the river, making friends along the way, and having one hellava good time. From planning his trip to displaying his gear, from the first day at the headwaters below Indian Lake to the conclusion near Lawrenceburg Indiana on the Ohio River, come learn about this amazing journey right here in our own “backyard.” See you downstream!

This presentation will encourage us all to  “Live Active, Laugh More and Inspire All.”

I'm glad you're okay, Brent. What's worse is when you've had $300 annual maintenance done that morning, it's a beautiful 60+degree day on Feb 14, and someone hangs a left in front of your car causing $10k damage. Luckily neither my daughter nor I were seriously hurt.

I wish I would had brought my camera. What a packed house for Tom's adventure. It was a very nice evening that I was sad to see come to an end. Now we need a repeat for the LMR trip he just completed.

Tom put on a great presentation of his adventure. Beer & Zombie Dogz were good, but best was the company!
