This is a single night version of a multi-night event posted for the same start time. Join us for a colorful mid-October paddle and a car camping trip on a northern section of the beautiful Great Miami River (GMR).  We will start the weekend by meeting at The Pines Restaurant and Bar and setting up our camp on their property which is just below the first dam on the Great Miami River, the Dam at Quincy[B] [GM 140.8].

I just bought one. Boots, and a rash guard neoprene top. Works great. I wore a bicycle rain jacket over all of it. Borderline too warm with 55 degree weather. It was a bit windy, so it ended up being perfect. Great Miami outfitters has the farmer john sleeveless wet suits for $[masked]

Good deal, George. Last week, my best friend bought me a windproof camouflage and black hunting jacket (BOGO 50% off at Kmart). I wore it over my wetsuit and bathing suit on the Cowan Lake paddle, and I was nice and warm. I can wear my waterproof jacket over everything and peel layers off when I get hot.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
