Clark Creek Natural Area, Pond, MS

This weekend should be nice, with the temperatures a little cooler. Let's hike and see what we can discover in the great outdoors. Clark Creek has several waterfalls! It's only about 1 1/4 hr. from McComb. Be sure to read this info about this really cool place:

Wear shoes that are comfortable for hiking, and something you can get wet in if you so desire.  More experienced photographers will be happy to assist those who would like tips on how to make better photos.

FYI: The last time I was there, I did not have cell phone reception.

Note that the trails can be fairly rigorous. There are some pretty big hills to go up and down, and some uneven footing as you walk along the creek, etc. So dress appropriately, and bring water. You may want to have mosquito repellent on hand, also.

Some of you may want to get together to share a ride. (Unfortunately, I myself do not do well at sharing rides--sorry!) And you can also invite others, even if they are not photographers. I've also opened this up to my models and photographers group, but so far no one has RSVP'd Yes in that group. We will meet at the entrance to the trails across the road from the store (which I believe is closed on Sundays). You may be able to text me at[masked] if you need to.
