SPEAKER: Jason Keicher
Jason is a Developer Technology Specialist with Microsoft focusing on Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server and .Net Technologies. Prior to joining Microsoft, Jason was the Co-founder and Director of Technology of LTech, a software development shop focusing on enterprise search and cloud migrations. LTech was a member of the Microsoft, Google, and Amazon partner programs. Jason has a Computer Science degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
For developers, SharePoint 2010 provides the business collaboration platform to rapidly build solutions and respond to business needs. Developers gain access to a rich set of out-of-the-box features such as Business Connectivity Services, Silverlight web-parts and more. Visual Studio 2010 includes new tools for creating, packaging and debugging SharePoint solutions. VS also includes new designers for building web parts, for creating SharePoint solutions and connectivity to Team Foundation Server to version control SharePoint solutions.
