Pathfinder Society Scenario #4–19: The Night March of Kalkamedes

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

A veteran Pathfinder exploring the Fenwall Mountains of Varisia has begun sleepwalking, traveling through the dead of night in the same direction each time. The following mornings, however, he awakens injured and lost in the wilderness, never reaching the mysterious destination that drew him from his bed in the night. Something is calling Kalkamedes, something powerful, but unless he can make it safely to the source of his somnambulism, that power will remain a mystery. It falls to a team of Pathfinders to escort the sleepwalker to his destination and uncover the true nature of the strange phenomenon overtaking Kalkamedes's dreams.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #4–17: Tower of the Ironwood Watch.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 5–9.

On the edge of Varisia's Mierani Forest stand the ruins of an ancient guardtower that once served as the native elves' first line of defense against the threat of invasion from the bordering Thassilonian realm of Envy. Just as the elves fled Golarion to avoid the destruction of Earthfall, so too did they leave behind the Tower of the Ironwood Watch, which the Pathfinder Society now hopes to explore—a task that could prove more dangerous than anyone anticipates.

Two sure to be fun scenarios. As always we will need GM's, now more then ever because we are getting more and more popular at the Source. Being able to open up enough tables to accommodate them all would be a good thing. Not to mention being able to claim credit as a GM for those that you as a player have already played.

Keep in mind even if you have NOT played them before, consider GMing still, as they will be repeated so you can play as a player with them as well. Just think of all the joy you will bring to a newer player to PFS!! :)

Thanks folks!!

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day Sunday at The Source in Roseville, Minnesota. We try to schedule one to two low-tier tables and one higher-tier table is starting up for the regulars. Games last five hours (scheduled to end at 6:00) and the GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young to old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game.

We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game along with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 13 please have parent or guardian supervision during the games). We look forward to seeing you

Both this scenario and game session easily has made my top 3 in pathfinder society experiences. Steve McCann, despite having a cold and not feeling 100%, came prepared and energized. His style of liberal GMing focused on fun and allowed us all to roleplay and be creative. The other players all came prepared to have fun, and were all fantastic to play with. There were literally zero arguments or rules discussions at the table. I so rarely get to play and this was such an absolute treat ... Truly a perfect storm of fun!

    May 7, 2013

    • Robert Edwin N.

I don't want to as I'm already GMing elsewhere this week, but if you're that short I'm up for it. I'll send you an email.

      May 7, 2013

    • Jon L.

Thank you Robert.. Best case scenario I will use you as a back-up ok? So if we do have fewer people show up you can sit at a table? That make it better? :)

      May 7, 2013

  • Tim S.

I've got a 2nd level Paladin I'd like to play in The Night March of Kalkamedes. My 6th level Monk could play in Tower of the Ironwood Watch but that would be my second choice.

    May 6, 2013

    • Robert Edwin N.

I was referring to your Paladin, Chris' Paladin, my Inquisitor at the same table. Sounds like a good start to any party.

      May 7, 2013

    • Tim S.

      Ah, gotcha

      May 7, 2013

  • Benjamin

Would like to play my 3rd level Cleric in Kalkamedes, but I do also have a 1st level Inquisitor. If I can play the Cleric I would like to play either at 3 or up.

    May 6, 2013

  • Rhett S.

I will have a level 4, and Guest is level 4 as well. For The Night March of Kalkamedes

    May 6, 2013

  • Gary S.

W will play The Night March of Kalkamedes for sure. Most likely a level 4, and level 3 for my guest.

    May 6, 2013

  • J. Michael N.

I would prefer to play Night March but I could run Ironwood Watch if you really need me.

    May 6, 2013

  • Jon L.

Do I have any other GM's that want to step up??

    May 6, 2013

  • Sarah W.

I have a character for the low level one, if there is space. Level 2 wizard now :)

    May 4, 2013

  • Gary S.

Not 100% sure. Depends on if we finish another adventure in time fo this one. If we do not we will pull out. We might have to start at 2 if that is ok. Would have 5 of us all coming at same time.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
