Game Day at Tower Games (Sat - April 27th)

Pathfinder Module: Murder's Mark

Begins at 10:30am until finished

An urban mystery adventure for 1st-level characters ONLY - FULL

Everyone in the fishing town of Ilsurian is excited when the legendary Umbra Carnival rolls into town—even if the show is run by members of the much-maligned Varisian ethnic group. With strange and exotic beasts, scandalous performances, games of chance, and all the other fun of a traveling fair, who could resist such an opportunity for entertainment?

Unfortunately for both the town and the circus, however, entertainment isn’t the only opportunity the carnival presents. Hidden within Ilsurian, a guild of thieves and scoundrels has been waiting for just such an occasion to launch a campaign of theft and murder—leaving the strangers from the circus to take the blame. With tensions mounting between locals and performers, and the body count rising on both sides, it’s up to the PCs to uncover what’s really going on and clear the circus’s name before the entire town erupts in a firestorm of ethnic violence.

Mystery strikes again at the problem-plagued Blackros Museum in Absalom and its curator, Nigel Aldain, needs your help. When a famed Osirian tomb raider returns to Absalom and disappears in the museum's basement, Aldain fears the worst. Pathfinder Society Scenario #7: Among the Living - FULL

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, 6–7).

Famed Pathfinder Bodriggan Wuthers disappeared from his dig site beneath the House of the Immortal Son in Taldor's gilded capital of Oppara. Once a grand temple to Aroden, the Immortal Son is now Oppara's most opulent theater. Sent to locate Wuthers, the Pathfinders must attend an opera with members of the Oppara elite in order to gain access to the secretive theater's dig site. When a cult crashes the performance and the nobility change into hideous walking dead, the Pathfinders are forced to choose between finding Wuthers or saving themselves.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled regular Game Day scheduled for Tower Games in South Minneapolis, Minnesota scheduled for Saturday afternoons. The game will start promptly at 1:00 PM. With GMs arriving an hour early for prep and questions. Depending on the table and/or Scenario, games can run as late as 6pm.

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well.  It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

Check out Tower Games' website for more info on the store.

This Gameday is hosted by Sven and Tower Games.

    • Jack B.

I should have take a picture of that one... didn't think of it until after I started cleaning it off... :(

      April 28, 2013

    • Jack B.

oh, and FYI for the table... Fuse Grenades and Pellet Grenades take 1d3 rounds to explode... Not that it would have really made a difference, but I did check them out. "Lighting the fuse is a move action; 1d3 rounds later the grenade explodes, dealing 2d6 points of bludgeoning damage and 1d6 points of fire damage in a 10-foot-radius burst (Reflex DC 15 halves)."

Just wanted you all to know, and not be surprised by it next time.

Enjoyed the game. mostly I need to boundry set with one of the player who mooches on healiing and wont buy his own healing wand. Was amazed by the details of the theater

    April 28, 2013

    • Sven

Did you tell this person they should consider getting a wand? I agree its a good idea. Either way, you should try and communicate these feelings to the person and not to the comments section.

    April 26, 2013

    • Erik W.

hey does this start at 1030 or 12?

      April 26, 2013

    • Sven

You are not playing the module. Therefor you don't need to show up 2.5 hours early. Your game, per the description, starts at 1pm sharp.

      April 27, 2013

  • Sven

Rats of Round Mountain part 2 is more than likely full up. If there are open seats I'll update.

    April 21, 2013

    • Kyle

So if I got this right 7 Sorcerer, 9 Ninja, 10 Witch, 10 Fighter/Chemist, Brian's Paladin, and Tim with (dare I say) a Monk.

Wait. What the hell was I thinking? She's still level 1, and I wasn't *that* thrilled with Gunslinger anyway. So I'll just retrain her. Sorceror it is.

Hey, a scenario I can actually play. Lovely.

    April 24, 2013

    • Jack B.

Sounds like it is time to start volunteering to run games! That's what I did ;)

      April 26, 2013

  • Kevin M.

Sven, will a level 1 Rogue function in Among the Living, or should I level him up to make it function better in the scenario?

    April 25, 2013

    • Sven

Look for an email from me in a few minutes.

      April 25, 2013

  • J. Michael N.

I was hoping to play my first level gunslinger in "Murder's Mark" because she has 1 XP and I really don't want to start another first level character; I'm going to have a hard enough time leveling up all of the characters I have already. But it looks like we have a ton of fighter types. How badly are we going to need either a rogue or a sorceror? I could create one of either that have social skills, which it sounds like we might need to solve a murder mystery.

    April 21, 2013

    • J. Michael N.

Of course, I've now created a sorceror that I'd be perfectly happy to play if she fits in better. She's an enchanter with a DC 19 charm person which could always come in handy.

New table added, Among the Living. Going to try and shoot for a Tier 3-4 table of that.

    April 24, 2013

  • Sven

It seems we need a 4th GM, please drop me a line if you are interested.

    April 24, 2013

    • Jack B.

I am available to GM. What would I be running?

      April 24, 2013

    • Sven

      Muchas gracias

      April 24, 2013

We have a few spots left at the Tier 1-2 Table of Voice in the Void. Thanks to Jim M for volunteering to run this excellent classic scenario.

    April 22, 2013

    • Sven

There's no space! We need a GM.

      April 24, 2013

    • Jack B.

Just got permission, and I can GM.

If you haven't played it yet, I'd highly recommend Voice in the Void.

    April 22, 2013

  • Sarah W.

I would like to try out one of these pathfinder society things. I have a level 1 wizard, if a spot opens up :)

    April 22, 2013

  • Frank L.

Can't attend this one because I'm playing the magic pre-release at the source. I've also done Murders Mark before.

    April 21, 2013

  • Mike C.

I would say a rogue would be more of use to the party than a spellcaster - any locks or traps will be hard to overcome without one.

    April 21, 2013

  • Sven

We need a volunteer to run a Tier 1-2 scenario to make a third table. Do we have any takers?

    April 21, 2013

  • Sven

Just sent emails to Rob, Mike C, J Michael, Scott and Alan about Murder's Mark.

    April 21, 2013

  • Chris

We have a home game that night, so won't be able to make the module.

    April 15, 2013

    • Chris

Rats part 2... Kinda stuck in a mountain right now!

      April 21, 2013

  • Robert Edwin N.

Was signed up for Murder's Mark, changed to Rats of Round Mountain Pt 2. Play the module! Be the Module!

    April 20, 2013

    • Sven

OK we'll work on getting Rats 2 this gameday.
