Game Day at Tower Games (Sat - April 20th)

PFS Scenario #3-20: The Rats of Round Mountain—Part I: The Sundered Path

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for Levels 7–11.

In an effort to prevent an alliance between the Aspis Consortium and a contingent of ratfolk with incredible regional influence, the Pathfinder Society sends its best agents deep into a Darklands passage to the heart of Round Mountain, where the ratfolk hold court. But as is often the case for Pathfinders, the journey is an adventure unto itself, potentially deadly enough to prevent the PCs from reaching their destination at all.

Written by Kyle Baird.

PFS Scenario #3-22: The Rats of Round Mountain—Part II: Pagoda of the Rat

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for Levels 7–11.

In the hollow center of Round Mountain, the Pathfinder Society's crack team of special agents must navigate the so-called Pagoda of the Rat, where the influential ratfolk of the region hold court. Can they break up negotiations between the ratfolk and the sinister Aspis Consortium, or will the risks taken to reach this point have been in vain? The future of the Pathfinder Society's viability in the region lies in the PCs' hands.

Written by Russ Taylor.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #4–18: The Veteran's Vault

FOUR Tables

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

While many Pathfinders meet unfortunate fates in their ongoing explorations of the dangerous world of Golarion, some retire with decades' worth of treasure in their coffers, and their lives still intact. When one such Pathfinder approaches the Grand Lodge with the hidden location of her treasure vault, it falls upon a new generation of Pathfinders to retrieve from within a valuable keepsake. That they can keep anything other than the ex-Pathfinder's locket makes the assignment all the sweeter.

Written by Savannah Broadway

Please RSVP to guarantee a spot at the Table.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled regular Game Day scheduled for Tower Games in South Minneapolis, Minnesota scheduled for Saturday afternoons. The game will start promptly at 1:00 PM. With GMs arriving an hour early for prep and questions. Depending on the table and/or Scenario, games can run as late as 6pm.

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well.  It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there.

Check out Tower Games' website for more info on the store.

This Gameday is hosted by Sven and Tower Games.

GMs for this event will be Sven, Ryan B, Mike, Chris, Robert and Ryan BQ

Thanks to everyone for being so flexible in the face of change. As always thanks to the GMs who stepped up to the plate: Ryan Bolduan, Ryan Blomquist, Mike C and Rob M.

A warning about Rats of Round Mountain 2 (as those who first experienced this adventure were not provided this warning) - from the scenario:

"While playing these scenarios in order is not required, the PCs’ journey into the center of the mountain makes the most sense when the scenarios are played consecutively. Players who choose not to return to Golarion at the end of the scenario (making no Day Job check and purchasing no equipment) gain an additional boon at the end of the second scenario if they play it as the immediate follow- up to part one. See the Conclusion section on page 18 for more information on this option."

In other words, you have been warned. If you play Rats of Round Mountain Part 2 prior to Rats of Round Mountain Part 1 you will lose out on the scenario boon.

    April 18, 2013

    • Ryan

The very first time these were run locally the players were not told. It is worth a fair warning as this is a set of scenarios that was supposed to set a trend - linked scenarios with a special linked-scenario boon. The fact that there haven't been any more since Rats of Round Mountain, and considering that the scenario changed from "you cannot earn the boon" to "you must pay for the boon if you want it", we can tell how successful that experiment was.

      April 20, 2013

    April 19, 2013

    • Dave C.

Update, we are going to try and squeeze another table in. Ryan Blomquist has offfered to run a table of Rats part 1. We need TWO more people to sign up for part one to make it work.

    April 19, 2013

    • Sven

Nerp. Still need you to GM. Bring your PCs just in case we have 4-5 no shows.

      April 19, 2013

    • J. Michael N.

I would be happy to switch to Rats of Round Mountain Part 1. I played Part 2 quite a while ago.

      April 19, 2013

    April 19, 2013

Agggghhhh, I can't play part 2 this weekend. Guess Jhylas is going back in the folder for awhile..

    lol

    April 14, 2013

    • Brian L.

If there's not enough ppl for this, maybe we could hold off running it until some of the ppl who played part one can finish it?

      April 18, 2013

    • Sven

      Its under control.

      April 18, 2013

  • Tim S.

I think I'd rather do Rats in the proper order. so part II, not yet

    April 18, 2013

  • Sven

We need a few more people to round out the Tier 4-5 table of Vet Vault. If anyone is willing to play a level 4 pregen, drop me a msg.

    April 17, 2013

    • Michael L

If required I'd rather play up with my lvl 3 archer than down. Otherwise I'm happy playing lvl 1 magus.

      April 17, 2013

    • Jack B.

FYI I can play either my rogue 4 or musket master 4. If needed I'd play 1-2 with my paladin. This would be the first sub-tier 4-5 game, though.

      April 18, 2013

  • Mark K.

    Days off changed at work

    April 16, 2013

  • Jack B.

I can play at either tier for veterans. Paladin 2 for 1-2, rogue 4 or gunslinger 5 for 4-5.

    April 13, 2013

    • Jack B.

      I was wrong... Gunslinger is 4... I can't add ;)
And finally got his first crit with the Musket! BLAM!!!

      April 14, 2013

    • Jack B.

I'd prefer playing my Rogue, so that I can get him to 5th level.

      April 16, 2013

  • Sven

Please fill out the RSVP questions with your preferences. Right now I have 25 of 30 people who have answered, thank you very much for that.

    April 16, 2013

    • Chris

Where did all of the people come from? Looks like we have enough for 5 tables. Is there enough space for us at Tower?

      April 15, 2013

    • Sven

re:robert I have the 4 GMs required. If more are required I will keep you in mind.

      April 16, 2013

  • Katie Berger T.

This time I really WILL make it. Between illness, bad weather and religious commitments, I've had a month and a half where it's been impossible despite my intentions.
