Game Day at Tower Games (Sat - June 29th)

Pathfinder Society Scenario #4–21: Way of the Kirin

Tier 6-7 - Full

Tier 3-4 - Full

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3–7.

On the eastern continent of Tian Xia, the Pathfinder Society remains a small player in the greater political landscape, but Amara Li, head of the Lantern Lodge in the teeming city of Goka, has plans to change that. In order to secure the Pathfinder Society's place as an influential organization on the far side of the world from the Grand Lodge in Absalom, she must orchestrate an alliance with the mysterious Way of the Kirin. But the longtime rival of the Pathfinder Society, the Aspis Consortium, has plans to form an alliance of its own, and if the consortium succeeds, the Pathfinder Society's hopes of cementing their place in the Dragon Empires could be dashed forever.

Written by Dennis Baker

This Scenario offers a special Boon to Lantern Lodge and holders of the "Debt of the Kirin" but must be played before 08/14/2013 to qualify.

Please RSVP to guarantee a spot at the Table.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled regular Game Day scheduled for Tower Games in South Minneapolis, Minnesota scheduled for Saturday afternoons. The game will start promptly at 1:00 PM. With GMs arriving an hour early for prep and questions. Depending on the table and/or Scenario, games can run as late as 6pm.

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well.  It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games). Groups of more than two cannot be accommodated. If your group is larger than this size, anticipate being split-up.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Check out Tower Games' website for more info on the store.

This Gameday is hosted by Sven and Tower Games.

GMs for this event will be Jon, Ryan Blomquist, Sven and Jack

Thanks to Jack for running a great table. It was a tough scenario, but thanks to a great bunch of players, we survived.

Great game day. Good scenario, though VERY tough at the 6-7 tier. Thanks so much for staying later than you would have liked to, Ryan.

What is the percentage chance that I will be able to play
    in the tier 6-7 scenario?

    June 27, 2013

    • Sven

Looks like you've tithed the proper amount this month. Abadar smiles upon you.

      June 29, 2013

    • Kyle

I'm not so sure about that Sven

Tier 6-7 better bring it tomorrow! The important question is, will we have time for the [redacted]? Answer: Yes. Yes we will. I will make sure of it.

    June 28, 2013

    • jon d.

What? Man, I didn't kill Robert's PC. I was a player when he died. "Taco sad he could not save fox woman. Even though fox woman keep telling Taco she fox man. Hrm. All look the same to Taco."

      June 29, 2013

    • Sven

      Robert, that's 24 prestige. ;)

      June 29, 2013

  • Dave S.

Sven, should I bring a paper copy, so that when [redacted] does the [redacted] to the [redacted], he can [redacted] the crap out of the paper copy?

      June 26, 2013

    • Sven

      Naw, we should be fine.

      June 26, 2013

  • Sven

Tier 3-4 is FULL. Tier 6-7 has two open seats. We will have two tables at each Tier.

    June 26, 2013

    • Sven

Andy, you didn't supply class info. You also have one listed as a 5/6. Is that the Level 5 Monk of which you speak?

      June 26, 2013

    • Andy C.

      Thanks guys

      June 26, 2013

  • Trevor D.

Don't know if I can spare the time but I need to kill something so I'm making time!

    June 26, 2013

  • James K.

Darn. I was way too slow to sign up. I've got a lvl 7 gnomish cavalier and all the rest are lvl 1 and 2. So, I guess if someone ends up dropping from the 6-7 tier table, let me know.

    June 25, 2013

    • Jack B.

Well, you've been talking about "fluffy" for quite a while. Can't wait to see him in action. Hope I get you at my table!

      1 · June 25, 2013

    • James K.

I still gotta come up with a name for him. After my wolf, Grovel, and my pig, Pork Chop, I feel like it needs to be special.

      June 25, 2013

  • Tom

I am not sure If I mentioned it, but please mark me down for a level 4 wizard!

    June 25, 2013

  • Sven

At this point we are this close to being able to make a second Tier 6-7 table. I suggest emailing your buddies with PCs in range and asking that they sign up.

Reminder, if you are signed up for this game day and you have already plated Way of the Kirin, please un-RSVP. This will be the only scenario run this day.

    June 12, 2013

    • jon d.

No Jack That just means you're better prepared to [redacted] the PCs. Remember to run the [redacted] and don't give them [redacted] about the [redacted].

      June 24, 2013

    • Jack B.

Oh... got it so no discussion about the [redacted] in the [redacted], or the [redacted] that caused [redacted] to have his "special moment"?

I'll make sure not to say anything. Nothing happened. No sir!

      June 25, 2013

  • Josh R.

    7 magus

    June 25, 2013

  • Sven

Just an FYI to those interested in playing, this is not exclusive to Lantern Lodge PCs. In fact you'd be really helping the table by bringing different intel from your faction to the meeting with the Way of the Kirin.

Dang, the only scenario offering for the next two weeks that I haven't played, and my closest PC is one credit shy of 3rd level. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be run a lot between now and August. ;)

    June 22, 2013

    • Sven

Bummer. Even with your Gobs Too! credit?

Level 5 drunk monk, prefer to play up, but have no problem playing down

    June 23, 2013

  • jon d.

I wonder if we could sit an entire table of monks. With this scenario, probably.

    June 17, 2013

  • Sven

Fourth Table added. More Lantern Lodge fun.

    June 17, 2013

  • Tim S.

I've got a 3rd level Paladin or a 6th level Monk. its a shame that my lantern Lodge characters are either 2nd or 14th level :p

    June 17, 2013

  • Andy C.

I'll have my level 5.2 Monk.

    June 17, 2013

  • Ben B.

I should have a level 3 monk all ready for the lantern lodge scenario!

    June 17, 2013

  • Jack B.

Figured I should be signed up if I am running this, eh?

    June 15, 2013

  • Sven

Super stoked for this gameday! If all goes as planned, this will be my 100th or 101st table GM'd.

    June 14, 2013

    • jon d.

There is a rumor going around that there might be cake. I don't know fer sure yet, but that is the word on the yard.

      June 14, 2013

  • Chris

Lv 4 Magus. Not Lantern Lodge, so I can be bumped if needed.

    June 13, 2013

  • Sven

Paizo just posted a FAQ of sorts on this faction ending scenario. Give it a read if you have questions. http://paizo.com/paizo/blog/v5748dyo5leuz?When-a-Faction-Turns-Out-the-Lights

Three tables of Way of the Kirin. As an added bonus, every GM will have played this farewell to the Lantern Lodge special scenario before running it.
