Game Day at Tower Games (Sat - July 20th)

Thornkeep Level One - The Accursed Halls

Two Tables, five seats each - FULL

Starts at 11am and will take longer than a regular scenario.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #4–18: The Veteran's Vault

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

FULL

While many Pathfinders meet unfortunate fates in their ongoing explorations of the dangerous world of Golarion, some retire with decades' worth of treasure in their coffers, and their lives still intact. When one such Pathfinder approaches the Grand Lodge with the hidden location of her treasure vault, it falls upon a new generation of Pathfinders to retrieve from within a valuable keepsake. That they can keep anything other than the ex-Pathfinder's locket makes the assignment all the sweeter.

Written by Savannah Broadway.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #24: Decline of Glory

Tier 1-2 Full

Tier 3-4 One Spot

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

When the son of a famous Pathfinder gains control of his father's holdings in Taldor, the Pathfinder Society decides to build a new lodge there as a base to explore the many ruins of that crumbling empire. Unfortunately, the Taldan Phalanx has its eye on the holdings and an ancient curse has turned many of the residents into the walking dead. Can you survive the tangled web of Taldor's politics and fight off the echoes of the past or will you, too, see your glory decline?

Written by Tim Hitchcock

Please RSVP to guarantee a spot at the Table.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled regular Game Day scheduled for Tower Games in South Minneapolis, Minnesota scheduled for Saturday afternoons. The game will start promptly at 1:00 PM. With GMs arriving an hour early for prep and questions. Depending on the table and/or Scenario, games can run as late as 6pm.

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well.  It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games). Groups of more than two cannot be accommodated. If your group is larger than this size, anticipate being split-up.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Check out Tower Games' website for more info on the store.

This Gameday is hosted by Sven and Tower Games.

GMs for this event will be Sven, Robert, Jack, Brian and Mike

We had fun roleplaying and roll playing. Fine dwarven craftsmanship never fails us! I forgot to buy an Oil of Bless Weapon. Sorry about that.

    • Timothy B.

Only 20? Kyra had 15 alone. The barbarian took another 10 or so. >.> stupid plants.

      July 21, 2013

    • Robert Edwin N.

The plants murdered the Monk at my table.

If you wanted in on Thornkeep - The Accursed Halls but didn't find a slot, please see this: http://www.meetup.com/msp-pathfinders/messages/boards/thread/36505202/#[masked]

  • Jolene

Had lots of fun with my group. Even with the no shows

    July 20, 2013

    • Neal B

The no-shows in my group were amazing! Granted, they were replaced with real people. :-)

      July 21, 2013

  • Sarah W.

I had a great time and we successfully fought our way through the accursed halls of Thornkeep. We shall always remember our brave friend Monkery, and his sacrifice that allowed us to win.

It was fun, even though we had to relocate halfway across the cities due to overcrowding :)

    July 21, 2013

  • Sven

Thank you to Tim for wrangling the cats into tables amid the chaos of the wargames tournament.

    July 20, 2013

  • Brian L.

What a cluster$@&*, talk about starting the day on a sour note. Half my table failed to show up.

Next time you RSVP, take into account the fact that if you fail to come, you could really be leaving a bunch of people hanging. Thanks to Kyra, the players I did have had a great time and just pulled through by the skin of their teeth. Just remember, the worship of Sarenrae is ILLEGAL in Taldor.

fun group, great job by gm-mike

If you sign up for an event and you don't bother to let us know what scenarios you've played or what PCs you are bringing, you may find yourself sorely disappointed come gameday. Fair warning.

    July 19, 2013

    • Jack B.

Jolene, you are already scheduled for that, but thanks for the warning.

      1 · July 20, 2013

    • Jolene

Thanks jack! You must have just known!!!

      July 20, 2013

  • Ryan

I think I have the bubonic plague. Showing up anyway though!

    July 20, 2013

  • Katie Berger T.

I didn't get very much sleep last night and my throat feels a little scratchy.

    July 20, 2013

  • Evan Duane C.

Sorry got a bad ear infection can't make it this week

    July 20, 2013

    • Jack B.

      Feel better, Evan.

      July 20, 2013

  • Robert Edwin N.

70 sheets of paper, and 280 edges cut off later, I finally have my Thornkeep Maps ready.

    July 19, 2013

    • Sven

Brian, ask me again on Saturday. Robert gave me the image but I can tell you how to do it.

      July 19, 2013

    • Brian L.

Using Adobe Reader? It cuts the whole page for me. I can always just select the maps for PFS scenarios though, weird.

      July 19, 2013

  • Sven

OK we have three people waiting to get into Thornkeep. I'm going to move these three people to the waitlist so the scenario tables have full PCs. Chris, Daniel T and Andy C are now on the waitlist for Thornkeep.

    July 15, 2013

    • Sven

OK I've updated the descriptions to reflect that fact.

      July 17, 2013

    • Andy C.

OK something came up for Saturday, so you can remove me from the wait list.

      July 18, 2013

  • Sven

OK now that we are full up I'm going to remove the players who ONLY want Thornkeep. You are still on the wait list for Thornkeep.

    July 16, 2013

  • Sven

Mike C is going to run a second table of Decline of Glory. Thanks Mike.

    July 16, 2013

    • Ryan

Should I bring my own chair?

      July 16, 2013

    • Jack B.

May be a good idea ;) I think I'll throw a folding chair (or two) into my car, just in case...

      July 16, 2013

  • Andy S.

Please at me to the waitlist for Thornkeep as well. Ty

    July 15, 2013

  • Mark K.

    Days off changed at work

    July 15, 2013

  • Sven

Introductory emails have been sent to all the PCs who signed up for Thornkeep. If you didn't receive it please contact me.

    July 15, 2013

  • Tom

Now that the dust is settled, it appears that I will be bringing my lvl 2.2 sword and board dwarven fighter.

    1 · July 15, 2013

    • Tom

      Umm, to thornkeep. ;)

      July 15, 2013

  • Sven

Those of you not playing Thornkeep, please update if you've played Veteran's or Decline so I can seat you at the proper table.

    July 14, 2013

    • Brian L.

I'm sorry, but it's official PFS policy to split up couples so we can hit on the women.

      1 · July 14, 2013

    • Jack B.

      OMG.

      July 14, 2013

  • Mark K.

Update...I have played Deline of Glory so put me on the waiting list for Veterans Vault

    July 14, 2013

  • Sven

4th table added, instantly full. I will ask Tower about a 5th table but they do have a Warhammer tourney that day.

    July 14, 2013

  • Tom

What levels is this run for?

    June 11, 2013

    • Ryan

Bring a level 1, feel the pain. That is all.

      June 16, 2013

    • jon d.

Live life on the edge! Play a level 1 PC and spend four hours in the back or running away! Good times!

      July 14, 2013

  • Sven

So far at Thornkeep I have Ryan, Tony, Michael M, Kyle, S, S+1, Ben B, Roger S, Sarah and Tom. I haven't sent out introductory emails to the players yet.

Jack has offered to run Vet's Vault for those not playing the module.

    July 1, 2013

    • Brian L.

I could run something if needed, Decline of Glory?

      July 14, 2013

    • Sven

      Email inbound, Brian.

      July 14, 2013

  • AndrewU

Hopin to get my archer up to 3 since I see a ton of 3-7 scenarios being offered around town and I have no pcs in that range

    July 14, 2013

  • Sven

David St, Chris M, Katie B, Jay and Neal are all on the Veteran's Vault table. Have any of you played that scenario before?

    1 · July 10, 2013

    • Jack B.

Totally up to you... and/or the table. I assume your ranger would be in the 4-5 tier?

I'll be ready for either sub-tier, so we could even make that decision at game time, based on the APL we find.

FYI - another important note: Start time for this game will be "normal" -- mustering starting at noon, and I will start the game as soon as we have a full table!

      July 12, 2013

    • Neal B

I'll be good with just about anything. Tomorrow is only my second PFS session. Got a couple characters worked out, but all level 1. :-\

      July 12, 2013

  • Chris

Thorn keep if it opens up.

    June 24, 2013

  • Sarah W.

My alchemist is now level two and sitting tight for this module :) It should be fun!

    June 19, 2013

  • Sarah W.

By the time we get to this my alchemist will be level 2 :) She is at 2 exp now and it should be easy to find another 1-2 scenario to run ^_^

    June 12, 2013

  • Robert Edwin N.

I still want to GM a 2nd table of these. Forget the people who can't spend all day playing Pathfinder Sven! Do-Et!
