Game Day at Village Games (Sat - July 13th - EVENING)

This Month:#43: The Pallid Plague

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

Reports from Andoran's Darkmoon Vale indicate that a new plague is causing the deaths of untold fey. The Pathfinder Society sends you there to aid the nymph queen in stopping the plague and finding and destroying its source. When the plague spreads to the human population of Falcon's Hollow, the need to find a cure grows more frantic. Can you save the many denizens of Darkmoon Vale from certain death?

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled monthly Game Day scheduled for Village Games in Anoka, Minnesota scheduled for the second Saturday of the month. The game will start promptly at 6:00 PM immediately after dinner break and will last until store close at 12:00 Midnight and is limited to six seats.  Registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (further information regarding registration can be found below).

This event does have an associated entry fee of $3.00 which includes entry to event and 3 copper tokens (a $3 value).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well.  It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

Dianna ran her first table ever, and right from the start she commanded our attention, showed confidence, kept us on track, kept the flow of the scenario going, had a couple of nice prop touches (ask her about the flowers), and was not shy about asking a very experienced player to go with her ruling on something and they could discuss it afterwards.

If I didn't know this was her first time, I'd think she'd done this many times before.

First time behind the screen... do any of us REALLY believe that? :P

Dianna did a GREAT job, and we all had a blast!

    Thank you!

Thanks for a great game, Dianna! Totally enjoyable! Great job on your first time "behind the screen"! Heck, if this was your first, you are a natural!!!

Unfortunately, I was mistaken regarding my time commitment to Riverfest. While it does end at 5:00 PM, we don't have to be finished with our tear down until 6:30 PM. And as we're usually the last ones off the street, I doubt I could get to Village Games before 7:00 PM. So as much as I'd like to join you, I'll have to bow out and take a pass this time.

Sorry to hear that. So let's see: levels are now 3,3,2 for an APL of 2.667, so I guess that's subtier 3-4 and a 4th-level pregen. Oh Kyyyyrraaaa.... ;)

Add in Mark's lev 5 archer fighter, and we are still solidly in 3-4. And Kyra???

So we're looking at a rogue/sorcerer, a conjurer, an arcane duelist and a magus?

    GO TEAM ARCANE!

      Don't forget Angelus, Conjurer Extraordinaire!!!!

      July 11, 2013

I mean Angelo! He'll never forgive me for that

Looks like I'm doing this one instead of the morning scenario (alas, can't quite swing both). My wife and I have 3rd-level PCs: kitsune arcane duelist bard and kitsune magus.

Sounds like Kyra may be making an appearance?

with Team Arcane, I might have to... chuckle.

My wife believes I may be cutting it close, but I'm going to head to Village Games directly after tearing down our booth at Riverfest; I may be a few minutes late. I really only have one character in tier for this right now – a Rogue 3/Sorcerer 2. With the PC levels of the confirmed RSVPs I'm seeing (3, 3, 2 and my 5), we'd be playing the 3-4 sub-tier, yes? Unless everyone has their minds set on the 1-2 sub-tier (which I couldn't play), I'll assume so.

    July 11, 2013

    • Jack B.

That'd be perfect for me. And, I'll be glad to see you there... always a blast playing with you.

Looking somewhat possible for making this event, but cannot commit yet. If I play, I would be playing Angelo Gaius Cassius Fierro, Conjurer Extraordinaire, Master of Mysteries Unknown to Man, Former Scion of the Devil-bound Kingdom, Future Savior of the Unwashed Masses. He escaped his captivity to grace you with his presence. Hopefully he and his ego can show up and astound you all. (Ok, so he has a LOT of bluster. There is a reason for his horrid Charisma beyond his infernally-tainted flesh; he truly does not realize how he comes across like Sheldon Cooper!)

I will try and talk my brother- in-law, Paul, into coming, if we are playing lower tier. He'll have a wizard (Conjurer teleportation) 2

Oh man, I've been wanting to play this scenario ever since I ran it like a year and a half ago! Hope I can get Rachel to come along for this one, since our twin PCs are the only ones in tier...
