Game Day at Your Mom's Basement (Sat., Aug. 3, 2013)

Our GM signup can be found here!

#4-21: Way of the Kirin (Tier 3-7):  2 TABLES

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3–7.

On the eastern continent of Tian Xia, the Pathfinder Society remains a small player in the greater political landscape, but Amara Li, head of the Lantern Lodge in the teeming city of Goka, has plans to change that. In order to secure the Pathfinder Society's place as an influential organization on the far side of the world from the Grand Lodge in Absalom, she must orchestrate an alliance with the mysterious Way of the Kirin. But the longtime rival of the Pathfinder Society, the Aspis Consortium, has plans to form an alliance of its own, and if the consortium succeeds, the Pathfinder Society's hopes of cementing their place in the Dragon Empires could be dashed forever.

Written by Dennis Baker.

#1-29: The Devil We Know, Part I - Shipyard Rats (Tier 1-7): 1 TABLE

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

When simultaneous kidnappings of Pathfinder and Aspis Consortium agents rock Cassomir's Imperial Naval Shipyards, the Society orders you to join forces with hated Aspis agents to solve the mystery. Can you work together with the enemies of the Society to uncover the source of the kidnappings, or will you perish in the shipyards of Cassomir?

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day on Saturdays at the Your Mom's Basement in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Games last five hours (scheduled to end at 11:30), but the venue is open until 1 am for gaming, food, and congregation. GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. While registration for events is not required, it is encouraged as registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (information regarding registration can be found below).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

This Game Day at Your Mom's Basement is hosted by Ryan Blomquist (Venture-Captain).

Hey, had a great time playing with a mighty fine Archer and 2 kick butt-owski wizards. Thanks for making my return to the cities gaming area a fun one.

Thanks for not killing us!! Had lots of fun precise striking things!

Had to turn around for Way maps. Running about 30 minutes late as a result.

Might be a little late I'm coming from tower and we are still mid campaign

We will have enough players for a 6-7 table of Way of the Kirin. Right now, I have Kjersten and Jim scheduled to GM Way and me running Shipyard Rats. I wouldn't say no to another volunteer for Shipyard Rats, though.

By, "I wouldn't say no to," I mean, "I am actively soliciting a." Just, you know, for clarity's sake.

I have never GM'd before, however I would be open to trying it. If we are in need. I've played parts 2/3 of the scenarios but not 1 so I can't imagine part 1 would be more complicated.

Just signed up (with my wife as my +1). We've got a pair of 3rd-level kitsune (arcane duelist bard, and magus) for Way of the Kirin. :D

Ryan, just an FYI that I am driving from Tower Games on Saturday. I may be arriving last minute.

Do we know what tier Way of the Kirin will be? I have a 7th level Lantern Lodge wizard that I need to play at the higher tier.

    July 17, 2013

    • Kjersten G.

Yeah, maybe Jim should handle the higher tier. I would probably cry if I TPK'd the group. Well, unless they asked for it...

      July 31, 2013

    • Jack B.

Oh, it is very possible at either tier.
I came within a round or two of a TPK when I ran it at tier 3-4 :P

      July 31, 2013

  • Josh B.

I've already played Way of the Kirin

    July 29, 2013

    • Kjersten G.

Turns out I have an extra copy of the scenario if you want to GM it at some point. :)

I have played way of the Kirin. So I have a level 2 rogue or 6 wizard for the devil we know.

    July 28, 2013

  • Gary S.

I might be in town this day. Would like to play Way of The Kirin if possible.

    July 27, 2013

  • Kailey

I am hoping to play the Devil We Know part 1. I have a Rogue/Bard 3, a Cleric 4 (if she survives the adventure earlier that day) and I plan on rolling up a level 1 character, class tbd, just in case the tier is 1-2.

    July 23, 2013

  • Dave S.

I would like to play my level 2 cleric if I can (my only toon), if not, I can play a pregen.

    July 23, 2013

  • Jim M.

GMing Shore to Sea. This will be session 2 of 2, so if you want to play this be sure to sign up for the previous Saturday.

    July 6, 2013

    • Jim M.

Update: the module is being rescheduled. Look for it at the end of August.
