Game Day at Tower Games (Sat - Aug 17th)

Pathfinder Society Scenario #35: Voice in the Void

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

Mystery strikes again at the problem-plagued Blackros Museum in Absalom and its curator, Nigel Aldain, needs your help. When a famed Osirian tomb raider returns to Absalom and disappears in the museum's basement, Aldain fears the worst. When strange sounds echo from below and several of the curator's night watchmen go missing, he panics and begs the Society to investigate the mystery and save his museum from the darkness that infests it.

Pathfinder Society Scenario #23: Tide of Morning

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 5th level characters (Tiers: 1–2 and 4–5).

Venture-Captain Dennel Hamshanks sends you to convince an Andoren druid named Hemzel to allow the Pathfinder Society to study his recently discovered lorestone, a minor magical item that unlocks some of the mysteries of the ancient Andoren druid circles. When you arrive and find Hemzel murdered and the lorestone missing, you must race against time to recover the lorestone and stop Hemzel's murderers from using it against the druids of Andoran.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled regular Game Day scheduled for Tower Games in South Minneapolis, Minnesota scheduled for Saturday afternoons. The game will start promptly at 1:00 PM. With GMs arriving an hour early for prep and questions. Depending on the table and/or Scenario, games can run as late as 6pm.

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well.  It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games). Groups of more than two cannot be accommodated. If your group is larger than this size, anticipate being split-up.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Check out Tower Games' website for more info on the store.

This Gameday is hosted by Robert and Tower Games.

GMs for this event will be Robert and Chris

Yea, it was so weird, 5 of the 6 of us did not have any way to help be healed (I have a wand of cure light wounds, I can't use and thanks Greg for purchasing a wand of infernal healing to heal the group). I am new to Pathfinder, but the guys who have played a long time, told me the correct thing to do is to buy a wand of cure light wounds very early so the healer can use it to heal you and no one in our group had one but me (I am a sorcerer). It was very odd group (no healers at all, I was the healer as a sorcerer). I guess are healers dead?

There is a large group of classes that can cast cure light wounds: clerics, bards, druids, paladins, rangers, witches, oracles. You just never really know what you'll end up at a table, unlike if you gamed with the same group of people all the time. It's usually more likely that you'll end up with someone that can heal or at least use magic device at your table. But you never know. Although it does seem to be more popular to multi-class in society play, to be able to bring more abilities and skills to the table. Don't give up, there's always next time. :-)

It was slightly different from my usual groups, but fun none-the-less. I look forward to gaming with these groups more.

This was good times. Thanks for GMing Chris, and making this the most fun table in a long time.

  • Kyle

What tier is Tide being played at?

    August 16, 2013

    • Sarah W.

I have a 4 barbarian or 5 alchemist. If you are bringing your barbarian Kyle, I might switch to my alchemist to even out the group :)

Anyone willing to swap with Greg or me? We'd like to keep our characters at the same level. I think we forgot the "play with one another" note in our RSVP's this week...

Hi, I am newish, and would be having a level one character, but I am willing to play a pregen at a higher tier if necessary.

    August 16, 2013

  • Dave S.

Level 1 Sorcerer and I have not played either one.

    August 16, 2013

  • Sarah W.

Well, just in case I forgot to say earlier, I have a level 4 barbarian for Tide of Morning. I have already played Voice in the Void :)

    August 16, 2013

  • Robert Edwin N.

Many of you haven't said what scenario you prefer to play... A comment with your preference would assist the mustering process greatly.

    August 16, 2013

  • Brian L.

I can run Voice if needed.

    August 11, 2013

    • Brian L.

The number of RSVP slots dropped, I assume I won't be needed?

      August 14, 2013

    • Robert Edwin N.

I had raised the number to try and lure more interest, but when the number hadn't changed after 48 hours I knocked it back down.

    Will be playing 1-2 tier

    August 13, 2013

  • Robert Edwin N.

There's still 1 slot for another 4th level victim... *Cough* Er, victorious hero, for Thornkeep Part 3 on August 31st at 11AM. Come for the module, stay for the tears!

    August 13, 2013

  • Chris

GM for Tide of Morning. This scenario is better tiered for 4-5 if we can get a table at that level. Please make sure you have your eligible characters listed on your RSVP and update us with what scenario will work for you.

      *just itching to punch

      August 12, 2013

    • Kjersten G.

Doh! Andoren Druid? I have two Andoren Druids, but neither one will fit in that tier! Oh, for shame...

      August 12, 2013

  • Chris

Set me up with a table to GM Feast of Sigils, if possible. Amanda will be playing, 5 more slots open.

    August 10, 2013

    • Sven

Hold up. Feast of Sigils isn't set yet.

      August 10, 2013

    • Sarah W.

Oh, I was referring to your message that you wanted me to GM something cause your other option didnt reply. If that was Chris and he is now wanting to run something, then I assumed that I would no longer be running a table, and if that was the case, then I would like to play a high tier table if there is one :). If that's not the case then disregard these messages

      August 10, 2013

  • Sarah W.

I have played voice in the void, so I would be happy to run a second table, or play something else if its offered.

    August 6, 2013

    • Chris

Was I the GM? I replied, but haven't heard back. I'm willing to run something, but would prefer something other than Voice in the Void. If I GM, Amanda would like to play, and she's already play VitV as well.

      August 9, 2013

    • Sven

I'm super duper busy getting ready for my tournament so my head is going in 7 different directions. We'll get it sorted soon.

      August 9, 2013

  • Sven

Voice in the void is yet another adventure that takes place in the ill-fated Blakros Museum. Thanks to Robert for offering to run while Jon and I are away.

    August 6, 2013

  • Tom

6 wizard, 2 rogue, or new level 1 available.

    August 4, 2013

  • Neal B

    Level 2 Ranger
