Rescue at Azlant Ridge is the second and final scenario in the Before the Dawn campaign arc and is the sequel to Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-01: Part I: The Bloodcove Disguise.

Written by Joshua J. Frost.

#2-20 Wrath of the Accursed (Tier 7-11):

GM: Ryan Blomquist

Expected subtier: 10-11.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 7th to 11th level characters (Tiers: 7-8 and 10-11).

When Pathfinders in and around the Osirian capital of Sothis don’t respond to an emergency summons to the Sothis Lodge, you are sent to discover their whereabouts. What you discover are a series of horrific murders all tied to a long-forgotten curse from the Society’s past.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day on Saturdays at the Your Mom's Basement in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Games last five hours (scheduled to end at 11:30), but the venue is open until 1 am for gaming, food, and congregation. GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. While registration for events is not required, it is encouraged as registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (information regarding registration can be found below).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

This Game Day at Your Mom's Basement is hosted by Ryan Blomquist (Venture-Captain).

I had an awesome table! Thanks ya'll for being patient! Hope you had a super fun time! I might not kill anyone, but we have an awesome time trying to kill druids and monkeys!

Thanks for the great game Ryan. Someday soon I hope to be finally rid of those pesky shadow lodgers for reals!

    • Kailey

Yes, it was a great game! On both the GMing side and with the fellow players. I'll not forget the little old lady in the tenement!

      September 8, 2013

    • Sarah W.

Poor little old lady :(. Deairia still feels sheepish about that

      September 8, 2013

  • David

I may be a little late but I will be showing up tonoght.

hey Ryan, if you are still looking for the third GM here I feel like I owe you one. Let me know

    September 7, 2013

    • Ryan C. B.

If you could pick up a second table of Rescue at Azlant Ridge, I'd be grateful.

      September 7, 2013

  • Daniel

So, I see the wrath of the accursed got changed to the 10-11 tier. Who is slotted to be playing at this table?

    September 6, 2013

    • Ryan C. B.

Currently, I have you, Sarah, Robert, and Jacob scheduled for Wrath of the Accursed.

      September 7, 2013

    • Daniel

      I'm out.

      September 7, 2013

  • Ryan C. B.

    Hey all,

Due to the level disparity in the Azlant Ridge group, I'm officially in need of a second GM - there are groups of an appropriate level for both 6-7 and 1-2 in the muster, and having them all meet in an unhappy middle at 3-4 is probably not a winner for anyone. If you're interested, you can reach me at [masked] or by posting here.

    Thanks,
    Ryan B.

Sorry, I would, but didn't see this till now, (6PM Friday). Double tables last week stressed my resolve.

      September 6, 2013

  • Ralene M.

Can you play part II of a scenario without having played part I? If not, would we able to play the higher level scenario using a pre-gen? We do not have characters that high in level yet.

    September 4, 2013

    • Daniel

Most scenarios don't have to be played in order. Sometimes in a 3 or 4 part story arc, you must play the final scenario last, but the others can be done in any order.

      September 4, 2013

    • Ryan C. B.

Daniel is correct - Rescue at Azlant Ridge and The Bloodcove Disguise can be played in either order, and you'll be able to join Rescue at Azlant Ridge.

      September 5, 2013

  • Tom

Before the dawn part 1 was run with a group of level 1 and 2's. I would like to finish both parts with the same character if that is possible.

    September 4, 2013

    • Kjersten G.

Unfortunately, there is no awesome boon or anything for playing both parts.

      September 4, 2013

    • Kailey

And my Tiefling now has a beef with the Aspis Consortium. Another dance with a Devil, Aspis?

      September 4, 2013

  • Sarah W.

If Wrath is going to be a 7-8 then I might switch to Before the Dawn with my level 4 barbarian, if there is room at that table.

    September 4, 2013

  • Ryan C. B.

Based on current RSVPs, the tiers of the scenarios have been updated.

Any idea what subtier Wrath of the Accursed might be shaping up to be?

    September 3, 2013

    • Kjersten G.

More than likely a 10-11 tier.

      September 3, 2013

    • Ryan C. B.

Very likely. I'm doing table APL now.

      September 4, 2013

  • Kjersten G.

You can put me down to GM Before the Dawn Part 2 since you sent me that scenario as well. ;-P Totally not a subtle hint at all...

    August 28, 2013

  • Kailey

    Ryan,
Available characters/levels update: My Rogue/Bard is level 4 and will have a Wizard 1 available too.
