Game Day at Dreamer's (Wed., Oct. 16, 2013)

This adventure is a two-session event City of Golden Death! Note that because it is being offered over two weeks, you'll need to be able to attend both. We also have the capability of adding a second table if enough of a demand exists.

Pathfinder Module: City of Golden Death (PFRPG (Tier 4-6)):
GM: Daniel McNitt

An adventure for 5th-level Pathfinder Roleplaying Game characters.

The Price of Greed

In the center of Lake Encarthan looms the dreaded Isle of Terror, accursed land of mystery and treachery. Hidden within the island's negative energy storms, the secret treasure city of the wizard-king Tar-Baphon has lain sealed for centuries. Now masked cultists have opened the golden city of Xin-Grafar to claim the wealth of the legendary city for the Living God Razmir. Can the PCs track the cultists through the poisoned swamps and blasted wastelands of the Isle of Terror to the City of Golden Death itself? And what forgotten dangers will oppose them as they struggle to prevent a dark faith from spreading across the world?

City of Golden Death is an adventure for 5th-level characters; it is written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and is compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world's oldest RPG. The adventure features a mix of wilderness and dungeon sites and includes a race through a ruined, golden city to stop evil cultists before the city floods with molten gold!

This adventure is set on the legendary Isle of Terror in the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting, but it can be easily adapted for any game world. It can be used as a stand-alone adventure or as the final chapter of the Price of Immortality trilogy, following the adventures Crypt of the Everflame and Masks of the Living God.

#1-33 Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible:
GM: Ryan Blomquist

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 5th level characters (Tiers: 1–2 and 4-5).

The Pathfinder Society sends you to the fabled Kingdom of the Impossible, the island of Jalmeray, to stop an Aspis Consortium black market relics dealer who is organizing the local bandits and violently robbing Jalmeray and Pathfinder Society caravans laden with relics, artifacts, and magical mysteries. When a venture-captain is murdered by the Aspis Consortium agent, it's up to the PCs to find him and do whatever it takes to stop him.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day on Wednesday's at Dreamer's Game shop in St Louis Park, Minnesota. Games last 4.5 hours (scheduled to end at 10:00). GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. While registration for events is not required, it is encouraged as registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (information regarding registration can be found below).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

So when I buy that portable hole and throw it in my bag of holding, for one ever-so-brief and shining moment, this will happen. Until the cosmos ceases to end as we know it. It's unfortunate that Faraday is not as intelligent as is wise...

This is of course only if you observe the phenomenon expecting to see evil

I just want to make sure that I'm at the table for City of Golden Death before I drive down. And going forward I would be happy to be the GM for a module or two.

Eric and Mark, are you able to sign up for the second half of this module being held on Oct 23?

    October 14, 2013

    • Kjersten G.

Does that mean I'm off the City of Golden Death table since I haven't played the first two scenarios with this group?

      October 14, 2013

    • daniel m.

Not at all, you are more than welcome to jump in, my only requirement is that you are able to make both sessions.
