This Week: - #41: The Devil We Know--Part III: Crypt of Fools (1-7)

Table One (3-4 or 5-6):

GM: Andy Christian - Players (FULL) Paul, Erica, Clancy, Mike, Dave C, Todd

Table Two (1-2):

GM: Josh Brinkman - Players (FULL)  Tony, Dave, Katie, Alan, Benjamin, Twink Q

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1–2, 3–4, and 6–7).

Another kidnapping spree erupts in Cassomir and the Pathfinder Society sends you to the notorious Swift Prison to interrogate a captured cultist about the recent disappearances. With clues gathered there, you must explore Old Cassomir and find secret locations that lead you to the source of the spree: the long lost Crypt of Fools.

Crypt of Fools is part 3 of the The Devil We Know series. Parts 1 and 2 can be played in any order, but parts 3 and 4 must be sequentially after 1 and 2. Look for part 4, Pathfinder Society Scenario #48: Rules of the Swift, in April 2010.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day on the first and third Tuesday of every month at Level Up Games in South St. Paul, Minnesota.  Games last five hours (scheduled to end at 5:00) and the GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. While registration for events is not required, it is encouraged as registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (information regarding registration can be found below).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

This Game Day at Level Up Games is hosted by Venture-Lieutenant Andy Christian.

Hey Todd. I emailed you already.

    You've already played this one.

Sorry Todd. You are right. This is the one you missed at Legion due to work and traffic.

Unfortunately I will be coming to the game little bit later than I was expecting. I got scheduled for a last-minute meeting at work.

      When should we expect you?

Put me down for the higher tier table. I can play in either tier.

Level 1 newbies are welcome? I was at one PFS event quite a while ago, and would like to get back into it. :-)

I'll speak for Andy since I'm up, but I assume the answer is yes!

    • Andy C.

      The answer is indeed yes.

If we have not played the other two parts can we still join in?

I guess my other question would be do we just bring a character we have. I have a level 2 half Orc ranger it should I build a new level one character?

      July 10, 2014

    • Andy C.

Dylan, if your 2nd level character is one you've played in pathfinder society, then you can bring that. Otherwise you'll need to make a new Pathfinder Society character. I'm on my phone right nowso I can't give you a link. But you can download the Pathfinder Society Guide to Organized Play that will give you the rules for how to build a character in this campaign. Its free, and I really suggest reading it before creating your character.
