Game Day at Your Mom's Basement (Sat. July 5th 2014)

Our GM signup can be found here!

TWO TABLES: 2-15: Shades of Ice—Part I: Written in Blood (Levels 1-5)

Table 1 GM: J Michael Neal

Table 1 Players: Matt, Matt+, Matt++, Terri

Table 2 GM: Tom

Table 2 Players: Clancy, Tom M., Tom M. +

When the Decemvirate sends the PCs to the Viking city of Trollheim in the frigid northern Lands of the Linnorm Kings to deliver a package to an allied scholar there, the Pathfinders soon find themselves unwelcome visitors. Forced to navigate the rugged, isolated city and interact with the standoffish natives, can they deliver their cargo to its target, or will they find themselves exiled from the city... or worse?

Written in Blood is the first scenario in the three-part Shades of Ice campaign arc. It continues in Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-17: Shades of Ice—Part II: Exiles of Winter and concludes in Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-19: Shades of Ice—Part III: Keep of the Huscarl King. All three scenarios are intended to be played in order.

(FULL) 5-20: The Sealed Gate (Levels 7-11)

GM: Josh

Players: Raechel, Raechel+, Evan, Ryan?, Kyle, Jolene

Following its efforts to set up a base camp in the Realm of the Mammoth Lords, the Pathfinder Society seemed ready to mobilize its forces when Marcos Farabellus received troubling news: something dire had befallen the camp. What’s worse, these events resulted in the disappearance of one of the Society’s most valuable tools as well as two of its esteemed leaders. The PCs must investigate the ruined camp, track down the perpetrators, and recover a powerful relic to prevent this tragedy from ruining the entire expedition.

Content in “The Sealed Gate” also contributes directly to the ongoing storylines of the Grand Lodge and Silver Crusade factions.

Written by Kyle Baird.

If there are enough sign-ups & an available GM, there will be a third table.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day on Saturdays at the Your Mom's Basement in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Games last five hours (scheduled to end at 11:30), but the venue is open until 1 am for gaming, food, and congregation. GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. While registration for events is not required, it is encouraged as registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (information regarding registration can be found below).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

This Game Day at Your Mom's Basement is hosted by Erica L.

Thanks for putting up with my ineptitude, I still need a lot more practice with 7-11s.

Actually you ran a great table Josh, you weren't pausing to re-read anything and ran tough intensive combats not fully abiding by Baird's full d-bag mode when you thought it could of gotten overwhelming (i.e. monkey room)

Considering how much was going on in all the fights, especially #1, you did great in my book.

I may be running a bit late if the Costa Rico/Netherlands game goes to extra time but I have my maps drawn so I should be able to get going fairly quickly after arriving.

It's going to extra time because the ball just bounced off of four bodies in the six yard box and the crossbar without going in. I'll be there when I'm there.

Love the reviews of 5-20: The Sealed Gate... I always enjoy when people claim it's a TPK in the making.

    July 5, 2014

    • Erica L

Technically that table is legal with a pregenned fourth but if you know someone who would like to play go ahead and invite. :)

      July 5, 2014

  • Josh B.

Hey, does anyone have the village square, deep forest, and forest trails flip-mats?

    July 4, 2014

  • Erica L

I've opened up sign-ups for a second table of Shades of Ice.
