2-17: Shades of Ice—Part II: Exiles of Winter (Levels 1-5)

GM: J Michael Neal

(FULL) Players: Matt, Matt+, Matt++, Terri, Clancy, Charles

Following the trail of the insidious Shadow Lodge from Trollheim to the icebound city of Whitethrone in the witch-ruled nation of Irrisen, the PCs must locate the hidden lodge of their contact’s kidnapper. Can they get past the city’s defenses, infiltrate the Shadow Lodge headquarters and rescue the Pathfinder Society’s valuable ally, or will they—like so many before them—find their bones ground to make Baba Yaga’s bread?

Exiles of Winter is part two of the three-part Shades of Ice campaign arc. It follows Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-15: Shades of Ice—Part I: Written in Blood and concludes in Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-19: Shades of Ice—Part III: Keep of the Huscarl King. All three scenarios are intended to be played in order.

Written by Joshua J. Frost.

(FULL) 5-23: Cairn of Shadows (Levels 5-9)

Table 1 GM: Jason

Table 1 Players: Eric, Max, Sof, Bryan, Jack, Erik

Table 2 GM: Erica

Table 2 Players: Andy, Tom, Josh, Jolene, Ryan, Kyle

The innumerable cairns and burial mounds of Barrowmoor in northern Nidal contain untold treasures and terrors, and the local taboos and Nidalese theocracy are typically enough to keep any but the boldest from exploring the site; however, when the Blakros family informs the Pathfinder Society that their shared enemy is in pursuit of a dangerous artifact, the PCs must brave the shadow-stricken region to keep this object from falling into the wrong hands.

Content in “Cairn of Shadows” also contributes directly to the ongoing storylines of the Andoran and Cheliax factions.

Written by Dennis Baker.

If there are enough sign-ups & an available GM, there will be a third table.

About this Game Day:

This is an announcement for a locally scheduled game day on Saturdays at the Your Mom's Basement in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Games last five hours (scheduled to end at 11:30), but the venue is open until 1 am for gaming, food, and congregation. GMs arrive an hour early for set-up and questions. While registration for events is not required, it is encouraged as registered attendees will be guaranteed a seat for play (information regarding registration can be found below).

We cater to new players and experienced Pathfinders alike, both young and old. All of our members are fantastic and display a true love for the game. We offer a friendly environment to meet new players and to experience the fun of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game with other fans. As a family friendly group we encourage families to join the fun as well. It should be noted that although Pathfinder Society adventures are written with a PG-13 rating in mind, we place no age restriction on play (children under the age of 15 are expected to have parent or guardian supervision during the games).

I look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you all for attending, and thank you Ryan for gming that 4th table! 4 tables may become a thing. Also quite a few tabs didn't get closed out so if you're missing a credit card that may be why. >_>

Erica, as things turn out, I am not going to be able to play my Paladin... need to hold him back for The Paths We Choose at Gen Con. So, I'll be playing Lady Natalia Landros, Paladin of Aroden (battle oracle 6). Sorry if this messes things up, but I'll probably need to be at a 5-6 table.

    Thanks!

Well, nuts. I will prep Cairn anyway (I've run Shades II a couple times, and I can certainly do so again on short notice). We'll figure it out when we arrive. I'll pack GMing stuff.

Really is it like festivus where there's an airing of grievances, because Paul's got plenty on his mind

      July 7, 2014

  • Staci L.

If three tables happen, can we try for a lvl 11ish game? Erika, if you can manage, I need two of these before first week of August. <333333

My guess is we'll likely have another low tier table but I can keep a 7-11 in mind. If you're available on the 19th I can definitely get a 7-11 scheduled then.

      July 6, 2014

    • Staci L.

I got the 19th. Need one more. Yayaya Jason is GM ing !!!
