Con of the North
Con of the North 2012
1983 in Boston. Our first group consisted of mostly Naval Academy grads, and a couple engineers, running AD&D with one of my favorite DM's (Stan) in his own created world.
AD&D in the Ithkrypt world, by Mr. Labak. All but one of us were college grads, most with post-grad degrees. Original D&D (using the pamphlets), a home spun campaign "Through the Blue Door", with characters classes we chose that had stats based on our own attributes. The world of Enigma, in a homegrown, skill-based system loosely fashioned after MERPS by Mr Stanley. Blugar's world, where my magic user was able to develop new spells based on existing known spells. We were fighting for independence from the evil State. I also ran the Enigma campaign for a couple years for some friends in Seattle.
PFS Thursday FFG Organizer. I really enjoy gaming for the creativity and the group dynamic of problem solving.
Great fun as always!
