I'm a regular D&D Encounters DM at The Source, and friends with Jon Lamkin, who invited me to play.
I really haven't, yet. I had finally bought a copy of the rules, because a friend was planning on running a campaign using Pathfinder rules.
I got involved with RPGs back when the original D&D Basic Rules came out on the market.
Typically I DM'ed for most of my friends, until recently, when I started to break away from my original group and get involved in game play up at The Source. As a DM, I've built a dungeon as grand in scale as the Undermountain setting in the Forgotten Realms. The first group to attempt it died horribly to a tribe of goblins, because one person refused to retreat. I've also enjoyed playing in the Scales of War D&D adventure path, playing a Wizard and surviving some encounters by "Mage Tanking". That includes surviving an encounter where the party was split up, and the "squishies" were left to fight the full group of enemies. Fountain of Flame works great as a shield against melee fighters. :)
Hi, I'm a long time gamer of many RPGs, mostly D&D and D20 systems. I enjoy playing fantasy games, but geek out over anything Star Wars (I've owned every version of the Star Wars RPG) or Sci-Fi.
I enjoy the atmosphere.
